Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Digital Change, Adoption, and Communications Lead (New Consumer Health Company). This position may be located in Skillman, NJ; at any J&J Consumer Office Globally, within the NA, APAC, EMEA or LATAM Regions; or Remote.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.     

It is anticipated that, following the conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.     

Job Description:

Data Analytics & Digital Acceleration is a newly formed team that will lead the transformation of Consumer Health towards a data and digital first culture with the deployment of rapid, high value end-to-end (E2E) data products and solutions. This team will be responsible for targeted E2E Data and Digital outcomes that require a cross-functional focus to unlock our growth strategy leveraging Data Science/AI and Intelligent Automation. The team is business-led, technology enabled and will have responsibility to enable achievement of the J&J Consumer Health 3-year strategic growth objectives viz. Net Trade Sales Acceleration, Gross Profit Optimization, and Free Cash flow optimization. One of the key focus areas for this team will be to design, build, and maintain E2E digital products and to incubate high value solutions. We are recruiting for a Digital Change, Adoption, & Communications lead to join our Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration team and help us push forward our data and digital-first vision! This position may be based in Skillman, NJ or New Brunswick, NJ and open to consideration of talent at any major J&J Consumer Health Office location globally (as well as remote). 

As a trusted leader in the Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration Team, this role will be uniquely positioned to work collaboratively with strategic external partners, global leaders, and executives across the business and technology to enable change management across functions and regions, and ultimately enable outcomes that matter in our local markets. This role will enable employees to leverage cutting-edge digital capabilities to drive business outcomes and financial impact for the organization, to support sustainable business growth and help position Consumer Health as a Digital-First organization and an industry leader. This individual will challenge the status quo, bring fresh thinking to our organization with a focus on the people side of change. 

Responsibilities: 

This individual will be directly accountable for change management, communication, training, and activation strategies and processes. He/she will define and implement a strategy, framework, tools, templates, and best practices for change management across the globe, to ensure digital solutions are successfully adopted by business teams and embedded in ways of working.  

  • Drive data and digital literacy: Drive literacy of prioritized data and digital products and solutions across the business 

  • Develop change adoption plan with affected teams: Lead/facilitate meetings with program / project teams to identify change impact, and jointly develop a change adoption plan. Track key milestones, key performance indicators (KPIs) and mitigate risks/issues. 

  • Drive change adoption and activate new ways of working: Work with local, regional, and global cross-functional teams to enable and activate data and digital capabilities by embedding the solutions in business processes and ways of working to realize expected value & outcomes.  Facilitate change management activities, oversee training & content creation needed to support adoption, and report on usage/adoption analytics and progress. 

  • Lead communications strategy: Responsible for leading overall communications for the Data Analytics & Digital Acceleration team. Support internal and external communication activities to further the team’s digital and data initiatives and activate the organizational change management strategy.   

  • Conduct change assessments for easier adoption:   Lead reviews with Solution owners and end-users to assess the efficacy of change efforts and capability adoption. Measure the success of the solution, help identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations on supporting the end-users and solution owners 

  • Stay abreast of Change Management leading practices: Champion the development and implementation of innovative ways of working, digital adoption strategies, and learning/training platforms.  Actively engage in the development and innovation of Change Management methodologies and intellectual capital by leveraging articles, whitepapers and, industry training efforts

Position Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required 

  • 6+ years of experience in organizational change management program design and implementation for large, global transformations, ideally in the data and digital space 

  • Experience leading change management, training, and/or digital adoption programs is required. 

  • Experience designing and implementing a digital adoption strategy and/or change management strategy for organizational or process change is required. 

  • Thought leadership with an agile mindset, experience shaping and continuously improving strategies and business processes 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to work with individuals from various geographies, business departments, and levels of the organization 

  • Enthusiasm for public speaking with the ability to engage a large audience and present material in a professional manner 

  • Must have experience analyzing and understanding end user requirements and expected business outcomes 

  • Must have experience managing project teams, establishing a collaborative team culture, building capability, and creating an environment of continuous learning. 

  • Must be able to plan, structure and prioritize work and projects for self and others to achieve objectives within deadlines 

  • Good understanding of change management principles, techniques, and tools is required 

  • Good understanding of project and program management tools and techniques, including agile principles, is required
