DART Senior Accountant
Our Global Services Finance Team is growing, and we are looking for people with strong accounting and finance
backgrounds. We provide outstanding, efficient financial services, and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating
Companies around the world.
The Finance and Accounting team is responsible for the complete and accurate accounting of all the general process
flows for the Balance Sheet and Income Statement. This role will provide exposure across different accounting processes
within J&J and the opportunity to observe various teams as part of the onboarding. We look forward to working with
strong individuals who are agile in learning new processes and adaptable to varying business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per the closing calendar and in accordance with SLA
commitments, fully observing compliance, internal audit & SOX requirements.
- Accountable for completeness, accuracy, and validity of the actuals reported within process scope.
- Knowledge of worldwide policies and procedures, identify compliance risks, and recommend solutions.
- Regularly focus on balance sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
- On-the-job training for new team members and partners.
- Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities to achieve “adequate” internal
and external audit ratings.
- Implement global strategy & solutions in line with taxonomy.
- Support Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Operational Key Contacts (OKCs) to ensure cross-sector, cross-region, and cross-process alignment - ensuring documentation is maintained and consistent with the global
approach.
- Generate ideas, cultivate, and implement a continuous improvement mentality, identifying and pursuing
process efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience is required (preferably with Shared Services experience)
- A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related finance and accounting courses is required.
- Willing to work in Parañaque City.
- Amenable to work on any shift.
- Willing to work in a hybrid setup (3x RTO per workweek).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Familiar with general accounting concepts, rules, and legal requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with motivation.
Preferably:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) a plus
- Experience with SAP or other ERPs an advantage
- Experience in a shared services center of a multinational corporation is desirable
- US GAAP accounting knowledge preferred
