The Commercial Excellence Lead is responsible for integrating and reviewing data from multiple sources to create, maintain, and publish meaningful reports or dashboards. This role will work closely with Commercial Lead, Marketing, Finance and Digital & Data to deliver meaningful information and analysis in a timely manner that will help to deliver sustainable and healthy growth to VCHK business. This role adds value by providing analytical insight and recommendations to support commercial initiatives.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly commercial Business Development Manager to join the VELYS team in Hong Kong. Working closely with the DePuy Synthes Joints Reconstruction teams, you will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and executing surgeon conversion plans from end-to-end. You will also assist in formulating and delivering training and support for Robotic-Assisted Surgery to customers, the wider Joints Sales Team, and other internal and external groups.

As a Business Development Manager reporting to the DePuy Synthes BUH, you will receive commercial and clinical advocacy support from a leader who values collaboration, creative thinking, and excellent field relationships. You will play a lead role in executing sales strategies identified through the key account planning process to drive new business acquisition. As a result, you will be recognized and rewarded for your collaborative selling initiatives, follow-through, and healthcare partnerships that accelerate the change to improve outcomes and change lives.

Responsibilities:

·       Co-create surgeon targets with local sales leadership and align on timing and priority.

·       Communicate regularly and effectively with the enabling partners as well as the Joint sales teams, to foster the highest levels of collaboration and efficiency in delivering conversion outcomes.

·       Implement effective and efficient territory coverage while developing key sales initiatives and demand generation programs.

·       Develop strong customer relationships and research customer needs to identify sales opportunities.

·       Contribute to innovative activation plans that build customer loyalty and expand exposure to RAS technology.

·       Participate in required meetings and conferences.

·       Deliver best-in-class surgeon and theatre team in-servicing for the first 10 procedures to ensure the best possible transition to the new platform.

·       Work with the VELYS Field Service Engineer, Joints marketing to support non-clinical decision-maker engagement through clinician advocacy.

·       Participate in sales meetings and provide monthly written status updates to the DPS Leadership team as required.

·       Work with Marketing to develop and deploy customer engagement and demand generation strategies via professional education and direct communications to support commercial success.

Requirements:

·       Tertiary qualification in Health Sciences, Business, or a related field.

·       Prior experience in orthopedics and robot or joint reconstruction is highly desirable.

·       Demonstrated leadership attributes and achievements.

·       Strong collaborator, able to create genuine partnerships.

·       A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
