This position is responsible for the creation and management of contract templates that are used to establish agreements between JJHCS and Provider Channel customers within the evolving CAR-T and Gene Therapy channels. The position requires close partnering with Pricing Strategy, Legal, Brand, Trade, Supply Chain, Account Management, and Contract Strategy & Analytics to implement approved contracting strategies. Lastly, the individual will have primary alignment to the Director of Offer Development but will serve as the Learned Intermediary for the Offer Development Managers during contract negotiations with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing Master Agreement and Product Document Templates for approved contract strategies.
Serve as the lead negotiator for highly complexity Agreements/Customers or novel arrangements between JJHCS and its customers.
Leads a cross-functional team of key stakeholders during the strategic contract development process. Maintains a high level of communication with business partners to share market and business insights.
Serve as the Learned Intermediary for the SCG Offer Development Manager: Provide first line guidance to the Offer Development Managers during contract negotiations with customers.
Review contracts (as applicable) to ensure accuracy and compliance to guidance documents, pricing strategies, and respective approvals.
Develop Process Narratives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) that define the approved procedures for developing and executing Agreements with customers.
Ensure that all Agreement templates are drafted in a compliant manner.
Actively participate in talent management and leadership within the Offer Development team. This includes direct and indirect talent management, matrix talent management, coaching, and mentoring.
Nitelik
Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Paralegal certification, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years business experience that includes experience in contract management.
Minimum of 4 years of experience drafting and/or negotiating contracts.
Experience in pharmaceutical contract negotiation for Managed Markets, IDN/Provider is preferred.

Big picture orientation and attention to detail; ability to think strategically, to leverage industry knowledge to anticipate and prepare for the future while at the same time, ensuring that contract templates and executed documents accurately reflect approved strategies.
Established organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Leadership skills needed to indirectly manage contract managers. Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and coach and train new contract managers and manage the day-to-day workload effectively for contract managers where necessary.
Position can be located in either Horsham, Raritan or Titusville, NJ with up to 25% travel between Janssen sites in New Jersey /PA area required.

The base pay range for this position is $113,000 to $195,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
