Job Title: Medical Affairs Placement Student (12 Months)

Position Summary:

The EMEA (Europe, Middle-East and Africa) Medical Affairs MedInfo&LCM department is responsible for providing hospital consultants, regulatory agencies and healthcare professionals with scientific and medical information relating to the value and correct usage of our medical devices.

The student placement will gain exposure to a wide range of different departments and be involved in national, international and global scientific/medical projects. This placement will offer a great opportunity to gain experience in the healthcare sector. The placement is computer-based and does not involve any laboratory work.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Liaising and communicating with many different departments internationally

Manage projects relating to Medical Affairs in line with business needs

Working with colleagues in the US and across EMEA to create streamlined processes

Identifying and reviewing scientific literature to aid the products’ portfolios

Developing and supporting internal (evidence) trainings

Create and share monthly reports within the team

Communicate with customers on J&J research process

Ad hoc support to Medical Affairs projects in EMEA


Qualificações

2 years of Bio Science related degree level study completed

A minimum of 2:1 achieved in first year of study

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Excellent research skills and highly analytical

Experience in evidence evaluation and communication

High level of scientific understanding and intellectual capacity

Adaptable and able to work with a wide range of different personalities

Networker and flexible and adaptable team player

Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Seeks opportunities to learn and grow professionally, with confidence

Able to prioritise and manage own workload autonomously

Pro-active and quick learner

Self-motivation and independence

IT-skills (MS office)
