National Key Account Manager (NKAM) – Zug, Switzerland

The role works at both - a strategic and operational level. The NKAM contributes strongly to the shaping of the Key Account strategy as well as has direct responsibility for managing very large Key Accounts in Switzerland. The position is the head of the Key Account team in Switzerland and has one direct report. The role is reporting into the Business Manager Switzerland, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Direct and indirect responsibility for developing the customer relationships and the business with the Key Accounts in Switzerland.
  • Responsible for recruiting, coaching and performance management of one direct report.
  • Working closely with the EMA team to get input to shape strategies for selected EMA Strategic Key Accounts to drive accelerated growth.
  • Key role in the CH Management team to shape overall business strategies.
  • Responsible for gaining agreements to strategic growth plans (JBP) with customers to deliver against the Swiss strategy and maintain/monitor commercial plans to improve on opportunities for partnership and sustainable growth.
  • Work cross-functionally to improve our value proposition and business solutions to our Key Accounts across Switzerland.
  • Supports direct report by engaging in strategic Key Account meetings.
  • Ensures the KA organization in Switzerland follows the accurate processes, for developing, setting, agreeing, and tracking JBP's.
  • Ensures that the organization is Credo focused and motivated to win, acting always in compliance and with business integrity.

Qualificações

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business management or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of Key Account Management experience in FMCG
  • Ideally experience in ECOM
  • Able to lead a team
  • Proficient in German and English
  • Located in Central Switzerland
  • Proven success and experience in leading customers and achieving genuine sales development
  • Understands business finance
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Mastering the principles of Key Account Management and has a good grasp of marketing and category management

  • Plan and implement specific account activities that meet the long term customer as well as company strategies
  • Excellent selling skills & strong negotiation skills and a track record in negations of margins and agreements with customers.
  • Effective strong strategic reasoning and a personal drive to achieve challenging market share targets
  • Effective interpersonal skills, communication skills & excellent organization skills
