Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.   

It is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.  

Job Description: 

The Engineer, Network Tools and Services will be responsible to ensure the reliable operation of network management tools. The candidate will work closely with the Automation and Tools Managers to deliver high-quality services for the Managed Service provider and end users. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of network management tools 

  • Integration of all network monitoring systems with other platforms 

  • Install and upgrade software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes 

  • Ensure all network management tools comply with published standards and controls 

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors 

  • Provide / maintain documentation and technical specifications on Confluence  

  • Assist with the design and implement automation for tools to deliver to logging pipeline, tool backup pipeline, event management pipeline 

  • Create and supply reports from monitoring tools 

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $88,000 USD to $142,600 USD.


  • Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) 

  • Capacity and Netflow Analysis using Netscout  

  • Analyze logs in SyslogNG 

  • Management of wireless networks using Cisco Prime 

  • Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) 

  • Any of the following is a plus: ThousandEyes, LogicMonitor, Meraki, FMC, InfoBlox, vManage, OpenGear/Lighthouse 

  • Collaborate and brainstorm with peers about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem 

  • Perform incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered 

  • Provide knowledge transfer sessions with peers and suppliers regarding changes in procedures, processes, documentation, and frameworks

  • Be an active and involved participant in all aspects of the agile process/cycle
