The Technology Leadership Development Program (TLDP) is an exciting two-year career acceleration program crafted for college graduates with a real passion for a future in technology. We are committed in providing you with rich, meaningful experiences to learn and grow while helping you build the skillsets J&J needs to become a future-ready organization. Our program provides opportunities in roles such as business technologist and business analyst in areas such as Data Engineering & Analytics, Data/Decision Science, Customer (Digital) Experiences. TLDP opportunities exist within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.

While in the program, you will aspire to be an empowered and skilled technology leader that can accelerate business value through agile delivery and human-centered design approaches. You will have quicker access to the best technology and approaches to deliver at scale across the enterprise. Each employee should desire to challenge the status quo and possess a dedication to consistently exceed, to think creatively and implement innovative technical solutions that directly impact the customer, the patient and the community. Lastly, you should exhibit a combination of innate characteristics and learned skills that will be the driver in being a successful technology leader in a global healthcare organization.

Program Components

This program consists of work assignments within the hiring country. You will be provided a comprehensive training curriculum including on the job, virtual, and in classroom training. Training topics focus on both job-specific and professional development areas plus opportunities to receive certification in a number of specialized areas. You will also have access to mentors and coaching to provide support throughout the program. We have active executive management sponsorship and involvement throughout program. During your assignments, receive opportunities to participate in and/or lead projects which address real business and customer needs. Lastly you will improve your technical, business, and professional skills while working in highly decentralized operating companies or headquarters organizations.

Position 1: Technology Services – Commercial Excellence, Data Engineering & Analytics

Capability Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Work closely with your supervisor to achieve goals & objectives associated with your assigned capability area. See below for work descriptions within each available position:

  • Commercial Excellence with Data Engineering and Analytics capabilities:  Real-time connectivity with ERP enables the region's e-commerce capability using a product like SAP Hybris and MuleSoft while utilizing analytics data to the fullest extent possible to better understand client needs in the B2B domain. Reach the international benchmark for tailored customer experience and develop ML and AI capabilities to open up new digital prospects.
  • API and Microservices, Customer (Digital) Experiences:  Utilization of cutting-edge health API and Microservices to enable seamless communication with us over the web, mobile, and third-party channels for the creation of an immersive experience for our users, customers, and healthcare providers. Create an open API catalog to offer a variety of APIs and Microservices utilizing AWS or Azure Services; the main goal is to establish a decoupled architecture throughout the enterprise applications to offer specialized services to our clients.
  • Integrated Platform, Commercial Excellence:  Through integrated platforms and integrations, silo apps are getting eliminated to modernize the tech stack. Instead of using conventional point-to-point integrations, we are enabling the Experience, Process, and System reusable layers to source and destination using Salesforce MuleSoft across all ERP and Satellite applications, where there are countless opportunities for growth because the person is working with domain process knowledge as well as enabling the technologies for the business processes and problems.

Position 2: Technology Services – DevOps, Cloud Automation Engineer

Capability Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Work closely with your supervisor to achieve goals & objectives associated with your assigned capability area. See below for work descriptions within each available position:

  • DevOps - Cloud Automation Engineer (AI, ML & Self-Healing):  Maximizing user experience, maintaining efficient development operations that can balance service reliability and delivery speed leveraging cloud technology stacks  (AWS, Azure & GCP)  to build software delivery pipelines deploy and monitor services and manage and learn from incidents. We aim to ensure that our systems are secure, reliable and high-performing by constantly striving to achieve best-in-class next generation infrastructure and security by leveraging a variety of tools to ensure all configuration is codified and applied in a secure, repeatable way via end-to-end automations that can improve the accuracy and prevent manual. Eliminating toil by automating as many operational aspects of our day-to-day work as possible using internally developed, third party and / or open-source tools. Maintain a culture of empowerment and self-service by minimizing friction for developers to understand and use our infrastructure through a combination of innovative tools, excellent documentation and team work. Start building Self-Healing infrastructure frameworks leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning along with Automation technologies to help drive better decisions, automate processes and eliminate manual interventions. This position will be in the Technology Services function of Johnson & Johnson, Singapore.

Position 3: Enterprise Supply Chain – Data/Decision Science

Capability Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

Work closely with your supervisor to achieve goals & objectives associated with your assigned capability area. See below for work descriptions within each available position:

  • Data Engineering & Analytics, Decision Science (AI, ML, & Intelligent Automation):  Maximizing data in its raw format and elegantly engineering, transforming, modeling, visualizing, and streaming it into the fabric of modern products and outstanding customer experiences. Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and other automation technologies to help drive better decisions, automate processes, and eliminate manual activities.
  • Scientific & Digital Health Technologies Digital Manufacturing:  Use of innovative health technologies combined with digital and virtual interactive capabilities to provide an immersive experience for the patients and healthcare providers. Developing systems and tools to enable customer interactions and collaboration.
  • Required Skills
    • Python 3 and PyTorch, along with associated AI/ML libraries such as sci-kit-learn, pandas
    • Experience with Unity 3D or other 3D toolsets is ideal but not essential.
    • Experience/Understanding with C++, VR, AR, IoT, Agile, DevOps/CICD, NLP, Virtual
    • Understanding/interest in working with Digital Manufacturing concepts, Connected Manufacturing, IIoT, Connected Platforms, Edge & Cloud Analytics, Digital Twins, MES/MOM etc.

This position will be in Enterprise Supply Chain function.



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computing, Engineering, Technology or similar attained between June 2022 – June 2023
  • Authorized to work permanently in Singapore without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • A maximum of one full year of professional, full-time work experience (not including internships or co-ops attained while pursuing your degree and military experience)
  • Able to start in a full-time capacity by June 2023
  • Internship or work experience in Information Technology or related fields is highly preferred
  • Proven leadership skills, business insights and technical skills
  • Highly effective communicator with extraordinary oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Think innovatively and use current trends to implement technology-based solutions
  • Display exceptional collaboration skills and teamwork to lead teams effectively
  • A real passion for a career in technology
