THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Senior Commercial Director - Oncology the Sales & Marketing Director has accountability for developing and implementing commercial strategy for Haematology portfolio business in AUS, with both short term and long-term economic business success.
The role will manage all hematology product lines and indications and corresponding marketing & sales plans to deliver business' objectives within policies and guidelines; including managing budget and delivering the agreed revenue target and business plan.
This role will be accountable for leading the marketing team and the sales team to deliver outcomes and reach their potential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the overarching portfolio strategy for haematology and the development and implementation of brand strategies to achieve commercial objectives and improve patient outcomes.
- Manage resourcing and channel mix to maximise portfolio performance and achieve individual brand objectives.
- Ensure competitive positioning of the product in the market and ensure the integration of omnichannel marketing activities to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Creation and implementation of Marketing Campaign and promotional materials with close cooperation and exchange with international teams
- Ensuring the excellent implementation of all marketing activities (e.g. execution of campaigns / product messages).
- Maximize brand performance, from insight generation to strategy development.
- Monitor KPIs and implementation of the brand strategy and adapts where required..
- Identification of business growth opportunities, including new indications and risks based on customer insights, competitive and market trends
- Set expectations for Marketing and the Sales Teams including sales targets and competency expectations.
- Coordination of internal resources as well as identification and control of suitable external service providers.
- Collaboration across other Oncology TA's to ensure synergies and One Oncology approach
- Coaching and mentoring of National Sales Managers and Product Management team in the delivery of business objectives. Drive growth mindset throughout team and focus on continual development.
- Create a positive, winning mindset and motivational working environment by, for example, holding regular account review meetings with AM and other relevant cross-functional staff (Medical Affairs).
- Conduct regular informal Personal Development Plan Review meetings with all direct reports to ascertain their development aspirations and training needs in line with Talent Management process at a frequency agreed between manager and line report/s
- Develops key external partnerships with the medical societies, Key Opinion Leaders and other key external stakeholders.
Kwalificaties
- Preferred minimum education: University/bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
- Preferred area of study: Business and Healthcare
- Preferred related industry experience: 10-12+ years related commercial experience and 3+Digital marketing or comparable relevant experience
- Relevant industry experience in Pharmaceuticals sector; New product launch and Digital/Omnichannel experience an advantage.
- In depth knowledge of Australian healthcare environment & systems
