The NPI PLAN Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting the new product introduction (NPI) activities. Acting as a vital link between the NPI/Variant Core teams and the supply chain, this position will drive planning activities and processes to ensure the timely launch of both NPI and variant products. One of the key aspects of this position is facilitating clear communication between Global Strategic Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain, and plays a crucial role in aligning and documenting forecast assumptions, ensuring that all teams are on the same page. A successful NPI PLAN Manager will have excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. This role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the NPI process from start to finish, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that quality standards are upheld. Furthermore, facilitating a smooth handoff of oversight to the base business after stabilization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) PLAN process to ensure flawless execution and successful product launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Drive supply chain strategy, system setup, master data, forecasting, raw material procurement, customs registration, and capacity planning for new product introductions to accelerate business growth.
- Report on NPI project status, revenue projections and overall launch calendar for all active projects during monthly Executive IBP.
- Act as liaison between project team and regional planning teams to ensure accurate forecast updates are made on monthly basis.
- Perform planning and buying activities to ensure the availability of raw materials is adequate for production and that production capacity will sufficiently support the launch and projected growth.
- Engage with suppliers throughout the development process, communicate net requirements, ensure ample capacity, and manage timelines to support launch readiness.
- Perform ad hoc analysis, including scenario planning to support decision making related to all aspects of E2E supply chain planning.
- Provide service updates related to new products as required on weekly Service Review meeting.
- Manage team that consists of NPI PLAN Analyst and Variant PLAN analyst.
- Cultivate and nurture a diverse team that demonstrates strong work behaviors, while promoting a culture of growth and inclusivity.
- Champion continuous improvement and enable team members to initiate and lead improvement projects.
Kwalificaties
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in a regulated industry in supply chain, operations, finance, and/or marketing.
- Previous experience in demand management, inventory, supply network planning, financial planning, and/or supply planning.
- Understanding of planning system functionality and integration into S&OP/IBP processes.
- High sense of urgency and adaptability to changing priorities.
- Attention to detail and strong follow-through.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence decision-making at multiple levels of the organization.
- Proven data analytics and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to successfully manage cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of planning principles and practices, and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Ability to drive consensus and decision making within cross functional teams.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a people leader
- Analytical/quantitative skills are required and must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
Preferred:
- ERP system knowledge and understanding. (Manugistics Blue Yonder planning, JDE, or SAP experience).
- Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field
- APICS certification
- Six Sigma and/or LEAN Green Belt and APICS certifications.
Other:
- Travel requirement: Up to 10% national and occasional international travel may be required.
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is 113000 to 195730.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
