VP, National Accounts

The VP National Accounts is responsible for the overall National IDN, GPO and Government accounts strategy, as well as the Customer Marketing activities for JNJ MedTech in the US. The leader will develop and manage a highly effective team of Area VPs, Directors of Strategic Accounts and Customer Marketing experts.

The VP National Accounts will join the Johnson & Johnson MedTech Commercial Excellence team in charge of supporting our health system customers, implementing pricing and contract strategies, developing commercial data and insights capabilities and leading strategic planning and will report into the Chief Customer Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead overall national account strategy, inclusive of defining and executing relevant customer segmentation across our largest customers, national IDN, GPO and Government.
  • Leverage market and customer insights to inform and support the progression the relationships with healthcare systems leadership, healthcare executives, key economic decision makers & strategic partners that enables transformation of the current commercial model by creating joint value that results in the ongoing reduction of costs, continuous process improvement, growth, and profitability for both partners
  • Develop and maintain strong collaboration with Commercial excellence peers and Franchise business and field organization leaders, fostering and progressing a One Team Culture focused on driving towards common goals
  • Challenge the status quo, drive change, and continuously Identify and progress critical account management capabilities and offerings necessary for future success in an increasingly competitive market.
  • Contribute to advance the development of our Commercial Excellence MedTech. Enhance our strategic account management practices, skills, and talent in order to drive growth, strong performance and commercial execution excellence in a highly complex internal and external business environment
  • Engage with our largest customers: meet with executive suite of national accounts, health care systems, major distributors, major government entities, group purchasing organizations.
  • Support the Chief Customer Officer in the creation of an industry leading capability of account management, services execution, and deep customer insights at the market and account level

資格

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ten or more years of progressive leadership experience in customer management roles – i.e., large account and sales management, healthcare consulting firm, general consulting, or Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN)
  • Strong experience in developing impactful marketing strategies in complex environments
  • Good understanding of the U.S. healthcare market, including legal and compliance requirements
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, trends, and customer dynamics, and strategies to deploy these dynamics
  • Proven track record in attracting, leading, engaging, and developing talent and teams
  • Experience working effectively and leading and influencing in multiple external stakeholder environments (e.g., field sales executives, account executives, marketing, enterprise solutions) while representing all of J&J
  • Experience working in ambiguous environment; ability to shape insights into strategy and execute
