Continually improve and develop communication channels such as; Daily Production meetings, Value stream Planning meetings, Monthly Value Stream communications, etc.
Maintain favorable working relationships with employees through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify Training Needs of Staff and Opportunities /assignments for Development to maximize their potential.
Ensure adequate tools are in place to effectively manage manpower.
Actively participate and assist in selection and recruitment of new employees.
Develop and maintain a team-based approach within the Value stream.
Complete performance appraisals and mid-year reviews in a timely manner.
Ensure absence and ER issues are managed by staff in a fair and reasonable manner in line with company policies, Credo values and Standards of leadership.
Develop both team and individual goals and objectives and measure actual performance against them, providing timely and honest feedback on performance even in difficult situations.
Develop and maintain a Credo based culture within the Value Stream.
Keep Plant Manager and other members of the Management Lead Team informed of ER issues and concerns in a timely manner.
Create opportunities to reward and recognize success of teams and individuals
Instill and maintain a sense of urgency and customer focus within Value Stream.
Priorities production in line with customer service requirements.
Ensure compliance with Lean based planning systems within the Value Stream.
Drive continuous improvement of supply KPIs
Work with planning function to eliminate / minimize backorder and safety stock concerns.
Ensure EHS policies, procedures and programs are implemented throughout the Value Stream and plant in general.
Ensure all manufacturing operations within the Value Stream conform to world-wide corporate, statutory and regulatory requirements for GMP, EHS and Quality.
Hold team accountable for Value Stream results.
Implement company business plan objectives within Value Stream. 
Strive to consistently exceed Value Stream results.
Reduce cost of manufacture on a year-on-year basis.
Actively encourage, promote and facilitate implementation of innovative solutions to ensure quality while delivering lower costs and shorter lead times
Recommend capital investment in production equipment as appropriate 
Efficiently manage variations in manufacturing demands.
Develop and maintain an environment of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Ensure responsibilities under the Quality System as defined in the Quality Manual are met.
Ensure all manufacturing operations within the Value Stream conform to world-wide corporate, statutory and regulatory requirements for GMP, EHS and Quality.
Promote a quality-focused culture within the Value Stream team and ensure GMP’s are adhered to

Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required; Focus Degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience required
Manufacturing experience within a regulated environment required 
Comprehensive quality compliance knowledge and/or knowledge of GMP systems preferred
Demonstrated business partner and ability to bring together multi-disciplined team members in-order-to achieve goals required 
Lean certification/experience preferred
People leadership experience preferred
Knowledge of Medical Device and/or Healthcare industry preferred
Machinery experience highly preferred
This position is located in Warsaw, IN and may require up to 5% travel.
