Janssen Research & Development a family company of Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Companies, is recruiting for a Post-Doctoral Research Scientist, located in Springhouse, PA.  The duration of the Postdoctoral Fellow program is 2 years.

 

Janssen R&D develops treatments that improve the health and lifestyles of people worldwide. Research and development areas encompass novel targets in oncology, neurologic disorders, infectious diseases, cardiovascular and metabolic diseases as well as immunologic disorders.

 

Position Components

 

This position is with the Immunology Translational Science team and requires a highly motivated and skilled Post-Doctoral Scientist to assist in the development of innovative therapies for autoimmune diseases. In this role, you will be responsible for the analysis of biomarkers across preclinical exploratory medicine studies and Clinical Phase I-III trials. Your key aims include the characterization of disease profiles of autoimmune diseases, exploring pharmacodynamic (PD) effects and response to therapy effects in subjects treated in exploratory clinical trials.

 

Your essential functions include but are not limited to:


  • Analyzing high dimensional data, including serum proteomics, gene expression (microarray and sequencing data), genetics, and microbiome analyses
  • Curating relevant clinical (subject-level) metadata
  • Generating and deliver data analysis plans, technical report of findings, and/or a PowerPoint presentation summarizing findings
  • Generating and maintaining working contracts and arrangements with external vendors and service providers to effectively meet required needs of the Immunology Translational Science group
  • Interacting and working collaboratively in cross-functional team
