Janssen Research & Development, LLC discovers and develops innovative medical solutions to address important unmet medical needs in oncology, immunology, neuroscience, infectious diseases and vaccines (ID), and cardiovascular and metabolic diseases (CVM). .


The Pharmaceutical Physician will begin his/her career at Janssen with three one-year rotations.  He/she will participate on and may lead cross-functional teams for evaluation of new product ideas; implements franchise business and strategies, etc.  This will consist of two Core Rotations.  Clinical Research and Development, with a focus on clinical trial design and execution. The second rotation includes Medical Affairs, with a focus on Medical strategy, evidence generation and dissemination to ensure appropriate use of medicines.

The third and flexible rotation is variable to include a focus Health-economics, Global Medical Safety, Global Public Health.  


This position requires an MD or equivalent and a minimum of three years practical experience. A background in one of the following five areas is preferred:  Neuroscience, Oncology, Immunology, Infectious Disease or CVM. A working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices as it applies to the conduct of clinical trials is required.
