Auris is a technology company defining the future of medical intervention. By combining advancements in medical robotics, instrumentation, navigation and data science, Auris is building a platform technology capable of expanding the applicability of robotics to a spectrum of medical procedures.

The Professional Education Manager will be responsible for successful training, education and support of Auris technology with new and existing customers. Working closely with physicians, clinical staff and hospital administration, as well as internal sales, marketing and clinical engineering teams, the Professional Education Manager will directly impact the success of a given program with Auris technology through utilization and programmatic growth. In addition to hospital training, the Professional Education Manager will have an active role in training sales and engaging with potential customers in events based around Auris technologies. This rewarding role will require a self-led, motivated, highly communicative and collaborative individual who can quickly and assuredly build long term relationships with internal and external parties.
Core Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct Technology Training in clinical and non-clinical settings for physicians, staff and sales
• Develop training and launch materials for new and current technology
• Continuously improve existing training and educational materials
• Support installs of new technology and updates to existing technology at new or current customer sites
• Successful cross collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs and other departments
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Conduct Technology Demonstrations users at Auris headquarters or offsite location such as labs or conferences
• Confidently interact with hospital personnel in all relevant departments, including but not limited to physicians, executives and both clinical and non-clinical staff members
• Support or manage logistics associated with launching or supporting new or existing programs
• Manage logistics around technology training for internal and external customers

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are flexible Monday through Friday, generally 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

• 4-6 years of experience in clinical and non-clinical professional Education in an operating room or endoscopy suite environment.
• Demonstrated peer-to-peer training with complex and evolving technologies.
• Training & education capability: demonstrated high impact teaching and training events with sales, peers, physicians and hospital employees 
• Demonstrated ownership of successful program development or product launch 
• Business acumen: excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to listen and understand the customer feedback and competently relay information, high emotional intelligence, leadership skills, on the spot troubleshooting, flexibility, motivation and drive
• Quality Assurance: demonstrated leader in positively impacting utilization of technology and proactive communication of both successes and challenges 
• Average of 60% travel
• BA / BS required
• Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance to ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820.
