Reporting to the Director, TS (Technology Services) Change Leadership and Communications, this role is responsible for driving and executing against the strategic direction within the Technology Services organization. This role is responsible for behavioral change when it comes to business processes, systems and technology, as well as the organizational side of change (structures, capabilities, roles, etc.). This position is a hands-on role with responsibility for both change and communications strategy and ensuring excellence in implementation across the global TS organization, supporting the J&J Technology direction. This role will work closely with employees at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders across a variety of functional roles (both internal and external).
•Enable the design, implementation, and management of all standards that have been defined for this functional service area.
•Indirectly drive the team relative to all communications and change leadership matters for in-scope JJT and TS efforts. Partner closely with Corporate Communications and Human Resources, as needed.
•Proactively manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful execution of critical projects using effective change management tools and methodologies.
•Drive change strategy for assigned organizational and program efforts.
•Plan and deploy ‘to-be’ change management skills, tools, and processes across project and programs within the TS organization to institutionalize change management practices.
•Develop related communications and change management plans to ensure successful implementation of these strategies.
•Execute executive-level reporting on all change and communications-supported projects and maintain visibility to key dates, decisions, milestones, and issues.
•Carry out assignments and special projects independently, drawing upon skills, knowledge, and expertise related to communications, organizational development, and change leadership initiatives.
•Advise TS leadership and sponsorship on change impact analysis; identifying individuals/groups/stakeholders likely to affect or be affected by changes across the organization.
•Drive and ensure consistency of Technology Services’ communication and brand standards internally.
•Maintain the library of communications, brand templates, and presentations for the organization to leverage.
•Provides coaching with leaders relative to communications and change leadership as they navigate the program change for themselves and their direct reports.
•A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or Human Resources is required.
•An advanced degree is preferred and professional certifications like ITIL, Six Sigma or PMI are a plus.
•A minimum of 9 years of Communications and Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience (with an emphasis on program and project delivery) in a Corporate environment is required
•A minimum of 7 years’ experience with large enterprise transformational projects is required.
•Experience in executing large-scale technology program change leadership in a global environment is required.
•Experience managing vendors is required.
•Demonstrated experience implementing a successful Communications Strategy, Brand, and broad Message Platform for a large global organization/function is strongly preferred.
•Knowledge of relevant systems and functional methods for measuring and developing impact analyses, as well as the effectiveness and progress of change implementation.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in a variety of mediums.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality while working with highly sensitive information is required.
•Digital skills and familiarity with information technology and digital channels of communication is required.
•Must be able to act as a change agent and challenge the status quo.
•Exceptional leadership, networking, and influencing skills to create alignment of senior cross-functional stakeholders are required.
•Strong business acumen and decision making/problem solving skills are required.
