The J&J Finance Supply Chain, Asset COE is recruiting for a Finance Manager to join the Facilities Management COE supporting the America’s (NA & LATAM) region.  This role will lead the finance transformation in the region, reporting to the Global Facilities Finance Lead and will provide support to the America’s Regional Facilities Leader.

The Finance Manager, America’s, will be responsible for providing financial leadership to deploy and implement Facilities functional reporting requirements for the America’s.  
He or she will also be responsible for providing finance support to the America’s Regional Facilities lead, including analysis and monitoring of regional commitments, supporting Regional lead in discussions and monitoring of external suppliers, support regional team in contract negotiations with external supplier and performing financial analysis of strategic projects and initiatives within region.
They will partner closely with the Regional Finance COE and local finance to design global finance standardization initiatives and implementation plans.  Implementation in region includes facilities reporting for internal management, vendor performance and monitoring, translation of global / regional guidance to sector / site, standardization of allocation models and participation in design of finance org and support model for the region.
As primary finance support to the America’s region, he or she will provide financial support and leadership to facilities strategic planning and annual business planning cycles.  
They will consolidate, frame and provide ongoing analysis and monitoring of regional commitments, including analysis of program objectives achieved against target.
He or she must have strong communication and collaboration skills, and will need to partner with GFS and other regional affiliate finance teams.   
The role requires a high level of motivation and confidence, and the ability to perform analysis with limited supervision.  Individual must be able to frame and communicate for impact.

Key working relationships:

Facilities leads, Business Operations, Facilities Finance COE leads, Financial leads, local Supply Chain and non-Supply Chain Financial Leads and Tax Directors.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Design and implement overall operating guidance within region
Key liaison between the regional finance teams and the Facilities finance COE
Planning and strategizing the near-term and long term direction including support to negotiations with third parties
Consolidate, frame and deliver short term and long range financial outlook (value case) to senior supply chain and commercial management

Focus of duties will shift over time.  Initial 6 months will include heavy focus on detailed design and negotiation support in LATAM and operational support in NA.

All Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field.
A minimum of 5 years of finance, accounting or business related field. 
Strong understanding of financial structure, tax, and reporting processes.
Process orientated individual with the ability to analyse.
Ability to create standard processes and benchmarks.
A proven track record of influencing and leading people cross functionally.  
Ability and comfort level with ambiguity and uncertainty.
Strategic thinking, collaboration, prudent risk taking, results oriented, and being performance driven. 
Strong presentation skills with the ability to partner at all levels of the organization. 
Individual must work well in a dynamic environment, be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, take initiative, and prioritize. 
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook).

All Preferred Qualifications
Management of an indirect team in a matrix environment.
Experience with SAP or TM1. 

This position requires up to 20% travel and the primary location is Bridgewater, New Jersey.
