The Manager, Sales Force Effectiveness & CRM Solutions, will be responsible for leading the execution of US sales effectiveness strategy and shaping the overall CRM strategy to help accelerate sales growth across ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses, Consumer Eye Health Solutions, & Johnson & Johnson Vision’s Eye Health Portfolio.

This Manager must bring strong thought leadership around sales strategy, sales analytics, and CRM capabilities to develop innovative, insights-based strategies focused on engaging and nurturing the relationship with our customers. With a growing portfolio of products and the expansion into Eye Heath, this person must seek out opportunities for simplification, capability enablement, standardization, instituting best practices, and driving efficiencies all in the spirit of improving sales execution. The ability to collaborate and influence others is critical to success. This person can speak in very technical terms and teach the most novice user the value of analytics & CRM.

This individual will partner and connect with the Field Sales Leadership Team, Marketing, and IT to enable field sales excellence including: Enhancing CRM capabilities to drive business strategy and evolving priorities; designing CRM capabilities to power new product launches, campaigns, and segmentation messaging; Partnering with VP of Sales, (4) Regional Sales Directors, and National Account Team to uncover & deliver insights to enhance the effectiveness of the Sales Force; identify new sources of data, technologies, and capabilities to drive and capture greater sales penetration by the field sales organization; management of analytical and ad hoc sales effectiveness projects within the U.S. team with minimal or no management initiation.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Partnering with Global Sales Force Effectiveness & CRM team to share and implement best practices across the global Johnson & Johnson Vision Care franchise
• Reporting results to senior management and all relevant stakeholders across the organization
• Partnering with IT to implement new capabilities and solutions for our region to improve and innovate access, reporting, and action based on sales data
• Own our salesforce.com implementation and serve as primary admin changes and integrations
• Management of one or more analysts focused on SFE reporting evolution, predictive analytics, and sales execution
• Own effectiveness strategy and execution for diagnostic (DX) “samples” deployment to drive sales impact and maximize ROI
• Develop sales enablement training and documentation
• Identify opportunities for improving efficiency in the sales process
• Be a student of the profession by keeping up with media and technology trends; helping share knowledge and build capabilities across the organization


Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar field is required. MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of business experience is required
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive marketing, sales, commercial operations, finance, analytics experience or its equivalent with a strong track record of business results is required
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience working on CRM packages (Microsoft CRM, SAP CRM, SalesLogix, Oracle On-Demand , and the like) is required. Experience with the Salesforce.com platform is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior management to impact decision-making is required as well as a demonstrated track record in identifying winning consumer and customer insights, growth opportunities, and priorities is required
• Strong track record of business leadership success, measuring and delivering results is required
• Demonstrated expertise in PowerPoint & Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience working with data analytics and visualization software such as Sales Force, MicroStrategy, QlikView, Tableau, SQL, SAS or other sales excellence analytics and reporting systems is preferred
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment backed up by strong communication skills
• This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida and will require up to 10% domestic travel
