POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW - IMMUNOLOGICAL CONTROL OF B CELL REPERTOIRE DIVERSITY AND AFFINITY MATURATION
Requisition ID: 7538180329
Janssen BioTherapeutics is seeking a highly motivated candidate to explore the rapidly expanding field of germinal center biology with a focus on B cell repertoire dynamics.
Biotherapeutics represent the next generation of promising anti-cancer, anti-viral, and immunomodulatory therapies. The Postdoctoral Fellow will harness a wealth of animal models and immunogens to explore the immune responses which drive antibody repertoire expansion and contraction, and how this leads to highly affinity-matured antibodies. The Fellow will work in a dynamic environment in a team and organization with broad and rich scientific expertise. The Postdoctoral Fellow will gain valuable industry experience while helping uncover novel ways to generate some of the most promising therapies of the 21st Century.
At Janssen, postdoctoral fellows are trained by expert scientists working at the cutting edge of drug discovery. Janssen BioTherapeutics supports a wide range of therapeutic areas including Oncology, Neuroscience, Cardiovascular and Metabolism, Immunology, and Infectious Diseases. The successful candidate will learn from and contribute to an industry-leading drug discovery program that has brought numerous quality therapeutics to patients and significant contributions to human health. They will partner throughout the Janssen R&D organization and participate in cross-functional team discussions, gaining insight into many aspects of biotherapeutic discovery and development. The Postdoctoral Fellow is expected to author papers on their research and present novel findings at scientific conferences.
