As the Account Lead for One MD (Medical Devices), you will:

Maintain general knowledge of One MD portfolio and promote company portfolio products within non-clinical partners in the assigned accounts by seeing opportunities to introduce new products and expand our penetration in the account and connects with clinical demand generation.
Manage Capital Equipment selling process, which includes coordinating upgrades, reviewing and ensuring contract compliance and/or adherence, actively participating in hospital activities that contribute to the account maintenance and growth.
Support and promote the One MD approach, prepare proposals and Portfolio optimization, lead inventory efficiency and standardization and Account price management.
Visit purchasing departments for assigned accounts to follow up on Purchase Orders and collaborate as needed, cultivating and maintaining relationships with supporting areas.
Collaborate with sales team to reach prospective clients and to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
Communicate adequately and with internal and external resources in case of product recall.
Prepare and present bundle and risk sharing agreements, identifying, implementing and/or coordinating Value Adding Activities (VAS) opportunities.
Receive the clinical demand generated by the clinical team and consolidating them to prepare a J&J commercial proposal.
Responsible for Call Planning & Account Plans for accounts within territory.

A bachelor’s degree is required with a preferred focus in business, science or engineering disciplines.
A minimum six (6) years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in the commercial area with consistent track record selling is required.
Experience selling within the Healthcare Industry (pharmaceuticals or medical device) is preferred.
Proven track record in account management and handling complex negotiations with upper management and C-Suite level individuals is required.
Experience pricing long term contracts, writing proposals and managing contract compliance is required.
Experience with Capital equipment sales, understanding P&L drivers and distributors is highly preferred.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
Intermediate MS Office skills are required.
Travel inside/outside designated territory will be required (up to 20% outside of PR and 80% within the assigned territory).
