Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Manager, Consumer Business Intelligence – Skin Health Franchise (US Aveeno, Future of Skin Health) located in Skillman, New Jersey.

The Manager of Skin Health Consumer Business Intelligence will work closely with the Senior Director to shape and guide strategies and innovations for US Aveeno and create the Future of Skin Health.  This role covers quantitative and qualitative research and analytics that feed into the development of deep human insights to support strategic plans, and innovation.

The Consumer Business Intelligence Manager would be responsible for the following:

  • Identify growth opportunities and risks to the Aveeno business and Future of Skin Health by consolidating and curating macro trends, leading understanding of consumer, market and competitive landscape using a multi-disciplinary approach.
  • Develop learning plan and use the most appropriate research strategies to deliver against business objectives

  • Identify consumer research needs and design research to address key business questions/issues

  • Use appropriate research methodologies to help identify new product ideas and qualify new concepts/products

  • Manage research projects through design, execution and analysis phases.  Analyze and interpret research results, summarize findings, and make recommendations for business decisions

  • Must partner with cross-functional functions such as Marketing, R&D, Consumer Sciences, local CBI counterparts to develop strong understanding of consumer, brand, products, and competitors

  • Demonstrate objectivity in the interpretation of findings and development of recommendations and implications.  Guides cross-functional team members to an objective viewpoint

  • Encourage vendors to act as “strategic thought partners”, supervise vendor partners to execute projects and proactively manage priorities across budget lines



Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree is required

  • Minimum of 6 years of related work experience is required

  • Experience working in a consumer marketing or manufacturing company is required

  • Experience with Technical market research required; conversant in a range of quantitative and qualitative ad hoc research techniques and syndicated business analyses is required

  • Educational Training or work experience that includes Market Research, Data Science or Analytics is required

  • Experience in market sizing and new product forecasting is strongly preferred

  • Experience in SPSS, text analytics, social listening platforms and DIY online survey, and/or qualitative moderation is preferred

  • Strong communication skills required

  • Team player required. Ability to see his/her value and contributions in the bigger picture

  • Ability to create one’s own agenda and deliverables, with minimum guidance is required
