We are seeking an IT Manager – SAP Portfolio Manager / Release Train Engineer (RTE) for Project Implementation and Application Maintenance to be based in São José dos Campos, SP.
This individual will lead a team that performs SAP platform support, enhancements and projects with focus in Deliver processes for the Johnson and Johnson organizations in Consumer, Medical and Pharmaceuticals Supply Chain platforms. This will include projects, enhancements, incidents, break-fixes, service requests and problem management. This person will ensure continuous improvement in the delivery for those applications. He/she will be managing ongoing relationships with the delivery managers and Business IT (BT) partners in Latin America.

Deliver projects and application maintenance demands across Latin America (focus on Deliver processes).
Ensure that the project under his/her leadership achieves the results, is delivered on time and on budget.
Analyze business issues, balancing the often-competing needs for innovation and standardization / process harmonization, to develop/propose solutions.
Ensure high quality and cost efficient SAP Demands Execution.
Lead a team of Scrum Master and SAP functional analysts, onshore and offshore across multiple platforms, including resource planning and weekly follow up meetings with the teams. Mentor and coach the project team members to maximize their performance.
Partner with IT Technology Services peers in other regions so that best practices and standardization are applied to LATAM platforms.
Escalate timely functional, technical and resource issues.
Leading and facilitating effective meetings across a global space to meet objectives.
Evaluate concurrent demands conflicts and drive best-in-class solutions for Business.
Provide regular and detailed appropriate reports back to stakeholders and at all levels of management and staff about the current status of the delivery.
Act as first level escalation point for the project issues.
Manage and control the implementation of changes into multiple productive SAP clients. Ensure that these changes do not disrupt existing functionality on these productive clients. Own release process in these areas.
Work closely with the SAP Architecs and SAP Application Maintenance organization to improve reliability of the SAP Platforms.
B.A. / B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or another related field.
10 years of IT experience in a corporate environment supporting SAP solutions is required.
Significant experience in managing a SAP project management and related operations.
Able to take initiative and drive projects to successful completion.
Experience with Agile / Scrum is mandatory.
Experience in management of critical path, issues, risks and dependencies.
Knowledge and experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is desired.
Previous people management experience related to SAP is required.
Experience working on global teams is required.
ITIL v3 Foundation, Scrum and PMI Certification are preferred.
Good teamwork, communication/information sharing and influencing skills are required.
Proven leadership skills.
Fluent knowledge of English.
Spanish speaking is highly desired.
