DTC Wellbeing – Manager of Partnerships
The Johnson & Johnson Human Performance Institute (HPI) is the creator and leader of B2B Employer Wellbeing training programs that improve wellbeing and elevate personal and professional performance through a combination of behavior science, performance psychology, exercise physiology, and nutrition training. Johnson & Johnson is now seeking to scale the HPI proprietary solution via an innovative, direct-to-consumer offering.
We are assembling a small start-up team to build and deploy this new business model. Ideally, candidates will be located in the NYC / NJ area with frequent meetings in J&J headquarters in New Brunswick, NJ where a broader group of J&J support functions will aid in building out the solution.
We are currently recruiting to fill the role of Manager of Partnerships
Work with DTC Business Leader and key business partners to support identifying and vetting potential partners and then managing executed partnership relationships that enable the business model. Partner with legal, business development and others cross-functionally to ensure proper dialogue and working relationships are in place with each partner. Support day-to-day working relationships with all key partners.
Key Jobs to be Done:
Partner with business development, product and marketing to continuously assess external landscape for partners that may be a strategic fit for enabling the business model
Lead detailing partnership scope with cross-functional team and manage defining scope of partnership agreement in close collaboration with Legal and business development
Manage day-to-day partnership details in support of business execution.
Hold partner accountable for excellence in delivery of goods / services
During start-up phase, the Partner Manager role will be very dynamic with regard to day-to-day activities and priorities may vary greatly
Experience managing multiple partners and/or external vendors that support enabling core elements of a business. Experience working with partners in digital and ‘real world’ domains or previous experience in Agency / Consultancy roles.
BA / BS
5+ years of experience in partner / vendor management role
Live in NYC / NJ / PA area
Preferred: Previous start-up experience
