Johnson & Johnson Vision, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Manager, Surgical Vision Commercial Insights & Analytics (US/EMEA) to be located in Santa Ana, CA.

The Manager of Global Commercial Analytics is responsible for two main areas: 1) Providing analytic support for both the global commercial organization and Strategic Insights & Analytics (SI&A) team through data cleansing, synthesis, analysis and data visualization and 2) Developing the roadmap of the CRM and analytic platforms used to support the global commercial organization’s sales and marketing strategies and objectives.

This position is part of the SI&A team and works closely under the supervision of Senior Manager of Commercial Insights & Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Global Commercial Organization + SI&A Team Analytic Support

  • Develop and maintain Executive-Level KPI Dashboard measuring the health of the business to support real-time data and actionable insights
  • Evolve the existing SI&A analyses and initiatives to shift from manual processes to automated, time-saving solutions (e.g., Tableau visualizations and real-time data linkages to a data lake)
  • Proactively provide integrated analyses across multiple data sources to Commercial Leaders by executing on established health of the business process to track & access performance across key initiatives.
  • Champion the adoption of self-service technologies and data analysis and automation within the SI&A team and the larger Surgical Vision Commercial organization
  • Drive excellence in execution by supporting high-priority initiatives related to technological advancements in data analysis and visualization and predictive analytics
  • Encourage efficiency in the way analyses is performed and distributed across the organization.
  • Subject matter expert in Tableau, Business Objects, and/or other data visualization tools.
Global CRM + Analytics Product Owner
  • Partners with global Customer Experience and regional Commercial Excellence teams to drive internal and field team’s satisfaction and adoption of these platforms. Gathers requirements for global and regional needs and partners with information technology business partners to deliver enhancements to these platforms.
  • Analyze information at all levels (Global, Regional, Country, and Portfolio), down to segmentation and account-level, to enhance our strategic knowledge of the market place and support tactics to increase sales force execution
  • Drive intuitive user-friendly reporting (reports and solutions) across the business through partnering with cross functional partners ensuring an environment for success exists.
  • Continually evaluating the organization’s ability to deliver value on reporting and insights and create & deliver business value recommendations for change where applicable
  • Proactively identify opportunities for business performance improvements and collaborate effectively with other functions, finance, marketing, supply chain, etc.
  • Support the development of measures and process to objectively assess sales force effectiveness. Report monthly/quarterly sales force effectiveness metrics. Support, develop and prepare quarterly customer dashboards & customer level metrics for management review.
  • Champions the identification of external new technologies, products and capabilities aligned to business strategy and priorities
  • Keen business acumen with a strong interest to understand, interpret and apply advanced analytics to solve business issues.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; preferably in business, marketing, statistics, mathematics, IT or related field; MBA or MS is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in insights, analytics, IT or a related field is required
  • Strong technical background and familiarity with data sources, data linking, and mastery of Tableau for developing dashboards is required
  • Experience in Insights & Analytics and/or IT in the health care industry - Medical Devices & Diagnostics/Surgical/Hospital systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional/Sr Leaders to impact decision-making; willingness to “have an opinion” backed by insight and confidence to influence key stakeholders.
  • Keen business acumen with a strong interest to understand, interpret and apply advanced analytics to solve business issues.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to think analytically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues and communicate solutions/conclusions clearly and concisely.
