In this role you will lead business and competitive analysis for the Self Care franchise and coordination and consolidation of analysis across the full consumer business, using analytics to develop insights and actionable recommendations that drive tangible business results.

Responsibilities:

• Drive profitable growth by identifying business and competitive trends, threats and opportunities, and providing strategic, actionable recommendations through use of broad set of analytical tools (e.g. MMM/Agile ROI, Nielsen, HomeScan, XOF, Consumer Facts & Spectra, Euromonitor, Kantar.)
• Work in close partnership with global analytics, brand teams, and media partners (i.e. J3) to lead Market Mix Modeling for Self Care brands. Leverage ongoing simulation to recommend media optimizations throughout the year to improve ROI, with attention to key sign-off dates to purchase TV inventory. Partner with global analytics to develop and roll-out cross-brand simulation capability.
• Lead analysis of monthly share data (Nielsen data) and consolidate and share brand and competitive insights and recommended actions with Self Care squads. Lead monthly share commentary for Self Care brands and partner with analysts for Skin Health and Essential Health to consolidate commentary for reporting to finance and North America Leadership Team.
• Lead Revenue Growth Management (RGM) collaboration sessions (re: assortment, pricing, promotional optimization) for Self Care squads and cross-functional teams. Through this process, determine and align RGM actions and priorities for inclusion in brand 3-year operating plans.
• Partner with Customer Excellence Lead for RGM pricing on analytics and insights for Self Care brands to inform pricing recommendations.
• Partner with Customer Demand Generation to develop and align promotion recommendations, and Category Solutions for recommended assortment optimization.
• Develop content for use by Customer Demand Generation team to sell-in promotion, and/or assortment changes to customers.
• Lead portfolio optimization process to enable profitability through insight-based brand, shelf and promo investment changes
• Integrate analytics, insights and recommendations into business processes (including 3- year Operating Plan, annual Business Plan, monthly Brand Review, & S&OP)
• Lead the Nielsen custom analytics relationship. Identify insights gaps and recommend Market Mix Model, Price & Promotion, Assortment Optimizer and other custom studies to support Agile ROI and RGM levers. Connect regularly with Nielsen to proactively share relevant CPG industry insights and analysis



Qualifications
Qualifications:

• Completion of a minimum of a 4-year Bachelor degree program (preferably majoring in Business or Business Related program.)
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience with direct experience in analytics with primary and syndicated data required. Strong knowledge and experience with Nielsen data and tools is required.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities and ability to analyze complex data and translate into actionable insights at strategic and tactical levels.
• Previous experience in consumer health and/or CPG industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to present information in a concise and succinct manner; structure and simplify complex info into key messages.
• Proven ability to seek and effectively leverage organizational resources (people, $s), tools (brainstorming, process excellence) and processes.
• Strong project management, problem solving and prioritization skills and ability to manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of key business/marketing processes, including annual business plan development, target and BME allocation, and channel strategy.
• Strong computer skills and deep working knowledge of MS Office (particularly excel)
