  • Planner will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing on operational activities to advance the Primary Container and Device development initiatives within the CSC organization.
  • Analyzes a chain of events and applies technical knowledge; collects facts and basic rationale for problem resolution
  • Partner with scientists, engineers, and key business partners to facilitate the end-to-end contract process as well as other business-support activities and research initiatives.
  • Support business planning and managing activities aligned with key financial planning events such as 1-Supply headcount tracking, Automated Capital Appropriation Requests (aCARs), OOPs requests, Totality, and Aravo.
  • Establishing of effective working relationships with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, External Partnerships, Finance, and Scientific partners
  • Proficiency in the enabling systems and processes required for the Contracting process.
  • Serves as an independent contributor with expertise in several areas (including but not limited to HCC-Totality, eICD contracts, eMarketplace, 1-Supply, and Aravo).
  • Responsible for a small to medium size project or components of a larger project (Advisory Panels/Symposiums, Janssen R&D Scientific Awards, F2F Global Team Meetings). Works effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Pharma/R&D are required.
  • Decision-Making: Independently solves problems and resolves issues within area of expertise or advances problems to the appropriate resource is required.
  • Competent in working with systems and databases to track contract status and budget is preferred
  • Working knowledge in setting up simple IT solutions to track business information (SharePoint) is required.
  • Partnership with scientists, engineers, and key business partners to facilitate the end-to-end contract process as well as other business-support activities and research initiatives is required.
  • Applies compliance requirements within scope of responsibility, provides documentation as necessary, and participates in compliance activities is required.
  • Knowledge of 1-Supply headcount tracking, Automated Capital Appropriation Requests (aCARs), OOPs requests, Totality, and Aravo is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other office automation tools. Strong MS Word skills is preferred
  • Basic knowledge/background in Finance is preferred.
    Special Training: Knowledge of scientific/medical terminology is preferred
