The Nonclinical Safety (NCS) Study Manager will provide support for the NCS small and large molecule study teams.  They will partner with internal and external support teams and stakeholders to manage operational aspects for internal and outsourced toxicology studies. The Study Manager will provide teams with accurate project schedules by using business planning tools that allow for timely and data-driven decisions.  The position requires advanced business planning skills, excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and excellent computer and organizational skills.
Essential Functions:
  • Develop, maintain and track detailed project plans. 
  • Provide study management and Logistics problem resolution, contingency planning and decision-making leadership.
  • Lead operational planning meetings with stakeholders and partners. 
  • Lead team discussions to ensure project timelines, and regulatory commitments are met.
  • Contribute to process improvements and procedures within NCS.
  • Foster communication and collaboration between stakeholders and partners by providing accurate and complete information.

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of pharmaceutical project management or related experience in drug development. 
  • Individual should be results-oriented with excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong computer skills are required. 
  • Proficiency and understanding of Project Management Software tools is required. 
  • Knowledge of GLP regulations is a strong plus.
