As the ExpressCare Packaging Inspector, you will perform a variety of inspection, order picking, receiving, shipping and housekeeping tasks in accordance with defined job processes with a focus on safety and quality in a 24-hour global Logistics Center. You interact with the computer system to perform assigned functions, as well as comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions. You will provide constructive input to enhance the work process/environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with the Operations Supervisor to ensure the achievement of the Logistics Center objectives.

Your Responsibilities:
• Conduct and record implant audits
• Train new packaging inspectors and packaging assistants
• Generate product complaints as necessary
• Communicate with other company departments regarding product dispositions and potential problems
• Perform warehouse transactions in AS400
• Ensure compliance to procedures that apply to the ExpressCare area
• As required, perform duties of ExpressCare Assistant
• Assist with expired product inspection
• Carry 24-hour pager on a rotating basis
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed to maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods
• Report all incidents/accidents/injuries immediately upon discovery to Supervisor/Safety Coordinator
• For compliance, satisfy completion and certification of all safety, material handling, drug handling, and any other required training as identified by Johnson & Johnson
• Demonstrate collaboration skills as a team member, and the ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team
• Demonstrate flexibility/sense of urgency (i.e., take direction and accomplishes tasks quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality)
• Demonstrate the ability to produce according to established goals and standards

• Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent degree required
• Minimum 4 years related experience required
• Requires Logistics or Warehouse experience
• Ability to function in a high-volume Logistics operation
• Loaner/consignment program experience preferred
• Medical Device or Healthcare industry experience preferred
• Experience leading a team is helpful
• Experience in quality assurance inspection, packaging, or returned goods inspection preferred
• Experience and/or knowledge of AS400 is preferred
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is preferred
• Requires ability to perform simple math, count accurately, and read and write legibly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis is required
• Ability to stand and/or walk on concrete floors 95% of the time is required
• Ability to bend/twist/squat and perform repetitive tasks is required
• Willingness and ability to use all job-related equipment and machinery
• Requires working primarily in Memphis, TN, with up to 10% domestic travel
• Availability to work the required hours, Monday through Friday, between 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with flexibility (based on business needs) to work overtime during the week or occasional Saturdays
