As a member of the Biologics Discovery Group, the Bioinformatics Principal Scientist will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide computational biology support to the antibody discovery process.  This will include the application of structural analysis to sequences from both internal and public databases to enable protein design, CRISPR-based gene editing, and antibody repertoire analysis.  The identification of relevant isoforms and orthologous genes will be a critical responsibility to support immunization, pharmacology, and toxicology.                                                                                                                                                                                                           
Essential Functions:
  • Apply structural analysis to protein sequences to inform reagent design
  • Analyze gene isoform expression data and design guide RNAs for gene editing
  • Analyze antigen-dependent repertoires from immunization host species
  • Optimize signal peptide design

Qualifications
  • PhD in Computational Biology, Structural Biology, Bioinformatics or related field
  • Must have a minimum of 0-3 years of experience (Academia will be considered)
  • Familiarity with RNAseq data analysis
