The Director will drive the delivery of functional tasks for Operational Agility Program. The Director will develop an in-depth understanding of Operational Agility principles, methodologies and processes to provide guidance and support with creation of cost reduction strategies and stranded cost action plans.

Please Note – 4 year / Consistent with OA Program duration scheduled to end 12/2022
The Director will play a central role in:
  • Establishing the cross-functional strategies
  • Providing leadership on Operational Agility including Implementing Operational Agility related processes
  • Leading cross-functional (Global Functions (HR, PROC, JJT, FIN), Supply Chain and Anchor Functions) teams
  • Enabling stranded savings targets to be achieved for Supply Chain Transformation initiatives.
  • Provide strategy and leadership to the cross-functional teams crafting the cost reduction strategies, target setting, and roadmap / plans
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact from the Operational Agility Program Office and Functions and share best practices
  • Program Manage (PMO) the Operational Agility implementation including status tracking, issues and risk management, value tracking and work plan management
  • Provide reporting and metrics, where available through the enterprise, to drive and target areas of savings opportunities
  • Educate stakeholders on Operational Agility principles, policies / guidelines and processes
  • Coordinate with external partners on Operational Agility design
  • Lead and develop high performing cross functional & matrix team.
  • Attract and develop superior talent.
  • Lead people through organizational uncertainty or key change initiative such as merger, acquisition, divesture, or restructuring


Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience required; previous experience in Finance and Accounting fundamentals, Supply Chain fundamentals is preferred
  • A minimum of 8 years of people management experience is required.
  • Proven experience directly dealing with cross functional areas (business, function, finance);
  • Strong financial acumen to understand stranded cost impacts.
  • Understanding of supply chain business processes.
  • Strong influencer, independent thinking and strong planning/prioritization are essential to success.
  • Real passion for employee development and talent management is important.
  • Experienced professional with strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) who can interact with senior management is required. Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Strong analytic and decision-making abilities. Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments, is flexible, collaborative and deadline driven is required.
  • Up to 10% domestic travel is required.
  • Position is located in New Brunswick, NJ
