Company background:  NeoStrata Company, Inc., part of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Consumer Companies, is currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to be based in Raleigh, NC and cover the markets of: North Carolina/Richmond, VA/Washington D.C & surrounding DC metro areas of MD/VA. NeoStrata Company, Inc., develops and markets innovative antiaging skincare products incorporating the company’s propriety ingredient technologies including patented bionic acids, Aminofil®, and N-acetyl glucosamine. 
Areas of responsibility:
  • Increase existing business to drive sales of medically dispensed brand through the implementation of consultative selling techniques that will inspire partnership with customers through the development of joint business plans and sell through initiatives.
  • Accelerate penetration of customers in designated market through effective prospecting and lead management.
  • Build meaningful relationships with physicians, mid-level providers and office staff
  • Implement medical relations programs with local key opinion leaders
  • Implement strategic territory management by monitoring and analyzing sales data for all major accounts within the territory.  
  • Meet or exceed goals and clearly explain progress.
  • Build collaborative relationships with balance of field and home office teams.
  • Attend key meetings periodically (tradeshows, trainings)


  • A minimum of 3 years of documented successful selling experience in the NC and/or Mid Atlantic aesthetics industry is required. 
  • Candidate must be able to understand and sell a science-based brand. 
  • They must also be well organized; able to simultaneously expand sales, open new accounts, manage existing accounts and utilize available resources in an effective and efficient manner.  
  • Licensed Esthetician preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to shape strategy:  Create growth driving strategy and vision.
  • Ability to deliver a plan:  Strong analytical prowess and execution skills to translate winning strategies into winning in-market executions.  Ability to maintain technical skincare & formulation knowledge.  Must be proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to connect with others:  Form strong internal and external relationships as well as generate insights to fuel growth.
  • Travel: ability to implement territory management in a territory that requires overnight travel (25%) does not include any tradeshows or sales meetings [1-2 per year] Ability to lift (~20 lbs).
