The Key Account Manager III, Telesales is responsible for achieving product sales to new and established accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration, primarily in the Independent Pharmacy market. One of the roles will primarily focus on AmerisourceBergen while the other will primarily focus on Cardinal Health. This job is eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions
•Creates and implements a strategic plan to achieve objectives through the sales and servicing of multiple small chains and independent pharmacy accounts within a prescribed territory
•Develop and implement key programs with accounts that create pull through strategy
•Work with key influencers within accounts to drive corporate initiatives and account specific programs to drive over all One Touch share and volume
•Identifies and targets new accounts and new business opportunities
•Strong analytical skills needed to utilize database, and various sales tools provided to track customer information and to increase the volume and profitability of sales to customer base
•Provides sales activity reports to management, when requested, and keeps management and channel manager informed of any pertinent business issues
•Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the product, service, industry, as well as of the competitive posture of the company
•Anticipates and supports the needs of respective territory
•Acts as an effective, responsible team member and assists in covering customer calls by absent team members and/or problem resolution

•Associates Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
•4 years of relevant sales experience required
•Channel or Payer account management experience is highly preferred
•Understanding of Managed Care is highly preferred
•Strategic Analysis and financial acumen is highly preferred
•New business development and cold calling distributor networks is highly preferred
•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required
•This position requires up to 5% domestic travel which would include periodic Tradeshows & required Company meetings.
