The Senior Planning Analyst will facilitate the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process of balancing demand with supply to offer best product availability with optimal inventory levels.


You will:
• Manage forecasts for NPI launches with a rolling 36-month horizon. Build scenarios and models based on products, past events, market analysis, cannibalization or other relevant parameters
• Follow a structured and recurring monthly demand planning and S&OP process. Lead, facilitate, and continuously improve Regional and Global level monthly demand reviews
• Collect information and collaborate with other Supply Chain functions, as well as with Marketing and Sales, and Finance to develop the most accurate demand plan
• Collaborate with supply planning to align and reconcile demand vs supply during new product launches and tenders
• Act as interface between Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Quality and Operations to support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process
• Monitor and report on performance metrics and support management with reports and data analysis
• Continuously improve the process and tools to increase the performance towards our end customers
• Develop and document new business processes in cross functional teams and ensure the effectivity of the end-to-end planning process
• Know and follow all laws and policies to apply the job and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times
• Additional tasks and maturity transformation projects may be assigned


Qualifications
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business, Engineering or related field, preferred
• APICS/Six Sigma/IBF certification, preferred
• A minimum of 4 years professional work experience in the supply chain area is required
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles is required
• Good understanding of ERP systems, Advanced Planning Systems, including SAP and/or OMP and information technology is preferred
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (vlookup, SUMIF, pivot tables, modeling) and Power Point are required
• Project management skills, preferred
• Ability to work independently in a structured and determined way is required
• Ability to negotiate and influence without direct line authority in a matrix environment is required
• Ability to apply project and personal leadership to successfully achieve project, team and individual goals is required
• Ability to share knowledge and personal experience with peers. Coach others when appropriate, required
• Ability to target communications as appropriate for the audience and make presentations to a small to medium-sized audiences, required
• Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would enhance speed of results and productivity or quality and/or ability to work with Continuous Improvement tools is preferred
• Ability to understand forecasting techniques and translate market intelligence into projected forecast impact (example: trade promotions) is required
• This position may require up to 10% domestic & international traveling to JNJ offices, supplier locations and distribution hubs
