The Director, Pricing, Go-to-Market Strategy, and Analytics, will provide analytical and pricing leadership, along with business support for key go-to-market strategic initiatives in payer, provider, and direct-to-consumer channels.  This individual will conduct ad-hoc business analytics associated with the J&J strategic options, the payer space, competitive/market assessments, and future business strategies. 
 
Responsibilities: 
•Payer and Channel pricing, including:                                                            
                 o Determination of pricing for new product launches                      
                 o Development of alternative pricing models to maximize sales and profitability
                 o Assessment of list price policy for BGM strip platforms
                 o Evaluation of payer contracted pricing to drive profitable access and maintain share leadership position
                 o Serve as Contract and Pricing Committees (CPC) voting member to ensure pricing discipline and compliance 
•Collaboration cross functionally to develop Payer strategies                                   
                 o Assessment of dynamic payer landscape changes and implications, e.g. Affordable Care Act business implications, EMR adoption and implication, M&A of National payers/PBMs, value brand adoption, etc.
•Go-to-market strategy development for new and existing products, including digital 
•Business analytics to drive fact-based decision making                                 
                 o Evaluation of pharmacy claims data to support marketing claims development                                                                                         
                 o Development of evidence-based approach in support of economic value story                                                                                          
                 o Payer performance assessment                                                             
                 o Retail non-formulary opportunity assessment   
•Build presentations using business judgment and reasoning to communicate strategies and information to senior management and other teams as part of Strategic Planning, Business Planning, New Product Planning, and other activities 
•Directly support the Americas leadership in development of Strategic and Business Plans that drive profitable growth  
•Develop strong partnerships with key internal/external stakeholders to help shape, lead and deliver new strategies 
 

Qualifications
  • BA/BS in business related field is required; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred 
  • Minimum of 10 years of strategy, pricing, analytics or financial experience is required   
  • Strong knowledge of the North America health care environment via pharmaceutical, medical device, payer and/or provider industry, or strategic consulting experience is required   
  • Exposure to payer contracting, digital health, and pricing is preferred.   
  • Ability to partner effectively, manage teams/projects, and communicate effectively, both written and verbal, to various management levels is required 
  • This position is primarily based in Wayne, Pennsylvania and requires up to 20% domestic travel
