Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Inc, a member of Johnson & Johnson’s Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Omni Channel Strategy to be based out of Skillman, NJ.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assess, shape, lead and support activation of J&J Consumer Omni channel strategies that build scalable capabilities that will accelerate online growth for top brick and click customers and for J&J brands
  • Be the central lead for J&J’s point of view on Omni channel strategies that J&J has a right to accelerate and WIN
  • Support ongoing operations of Omni channel working groups (e.g. Digital Acceleration team)
  • Lead development and ongoing operations of J&J Omni channel capabilities/relationships that scale Omni capabilities across the organization including but not limited to 3PL partners for Omni customer drop ship, Shipt, Instacart, etc
  • Support the activation of key strategies and capabilities with multiple stakeholders across the organization that touch Omni activation including (but not limited to) Customer development sales team, customer team omni leads, shopper marketing, digital strategists, and supply chain
  • Drive organizational accountability and own tracking and communication of the US Consumer Omni Channel growth/sales performance
  • Lead, monitor, and communicate key performance metrics to track progress against Omni Channel business plans to drive accountability to results for J&J – while surfacing roadblocks customer teams are facing and leading efforts to remove them to unlock omni channel growth
  • Lead investment model strategy and evolution to scale Omni channel growth
  • Build and develop playbooks and assets for brick and click customers to leverage to drive the J&J Omni channel agenda and demonstrate thought leadership in the channel
  • Assess, support and mobilize rising needs of J&J team members who lead Omni efforts (e.g. Walmart, Target, Walgreens, Kroger, Ulta, Costco, etc) – influencing internal partners to take action for top needs to activate J&J Omni strategies
  • Assess trade investment needed and garner support from customer strategy to allocate to Omni customer teams activate aligned Omni strategies, meanwhile stay informed of retail media investment being garnered for Omni by Shopper Marketing to support activation of holistic Omni plans that drive conversion
  • Partner with Customer, Omni, and shopper leads to understand how omni trade/retail media/search investments are being activated to offer best practices and approached to optimized investments for conversion growth online and in store
  • Ensure internal/external alignment, while growing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Create impactful, insights-based presentations in order to translate customer sales objectives into omni channel strategies and organizational capabilities
  • Partner closely with eCommerce team members and keeping strong external industry focus to bring new insights and rapid development of key capabilities to win in Omni for J&J and top customers

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required
  • A minimum of 7 years total business experience is required.
  • Prior experience in a consumer products company preferred, with 5 or more of these years in direct customer sales or marketing preferred
  • eCommerce experience highly preferred
  • Cross functional experience is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and to manage multiple priorities successfully is required
  • Ability to influence using collaborative approaches to drive rapid change at large scale is required
  • Ability to work in a complex, matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist is required
  • Ability to successfully negotiate internally and externally to align competing needs at high levels across dotted line relationships is required
  • Ability to instill followership through strong collaboration is required
  • Proven ability to negotiate successfully and to resolve challenge and conflict arising out of everyday business situations and competing needs across dotted line reporting relationships is required
  • Responsible for shaping and delivering new go to market and investment models to step change growth opportunities with J&J Consumer Omni Channel 
  • Serve as a change agent within the eCommerce channel, at the customer, and internal J&J franchises driving and instituting strategies that enhance collaborative efforts of J&J companies and devising innovative strategies/solutions that result in increased sales, profit and/or business productivity
  • Strong computer skills, including web applications, MS Office and sales database applications per computer proficiency standards is required
  • This role will be located in Skillman, NJ and require up to 25% travel
