As a part of the Global planning team, you will support the supply network planning and inventory optimization processes from Primary to Market Hubs. You will facilitate the balancing of demand with supply to offer the best product availability with optimal inventory levels.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Assumes leadership responsibilities for the Distribution Planning Team and act as single point of contact for regional connectivity & communication. Focus will be on cost optimization and improved inventory visibility through the propagation of supply plans and replenishment strategy in the distribution network.
• Establish the strategic collaboration and future operating model with regional collaboration.
• Drive distribution center inventory optimization and improve inventory visibility.
• Lead Global DRP replenishment planning strategy.
• Deliver the supply closed loop process robustness to enable supply communication through the translating the information between the demand and supply.
• Deliver the improvement of supply reliability and customer satisfaction via STEM.
• Partner with Regional Planning/Marketing Team and other business partners on WW allocation plan in case of major base business supply constraints.
• Own Global performance metrics (Backorders, OTIF, Sets deployment, Inventory targets, Order Management, etc.).
• Drive Process Improvement initiatives and SOP and Work Instructions robustness.
• Act as a single point of contact for regional connectivity & communication.
• Support the monthly Demand & Supply Reconciliation S&OP forums.
• Support Weekly prioritization and Monthly Capacity Planning with primary DC.


Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of a University/Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
• A minimum of six (6) years of professional work experience in Demand, Supply or Inventory Planning (Demand, Supply, Inventory) or Marketing/Commercial area
• Advanced skills in Microsoft excel and Power point
• Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly, and tight deadlines exist
• Ability to influence colleagues within the organization by using effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to challenge the status quo and evaluate processes to determine if refinements would improve speed of results and efficiency or quality
• Ability to build positive relationships, considering diverse perspectives & different styles
• Interest in systems and tools & how to master them
• Ability to communicate in English fluently
• This position may require up to 10% domestic and international travel

Preferred Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in Planning, Statistics or Engineering
• APICS, Green Belt, or Project Management
• Previous experience in leading a team
• Excellent understanding of ERP systems (JDE, SAP, APO)
• Experience with advanced planning tools (OMP, Kinaxis, APO)
