Actelion, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting a Summer intern to work in their Training & Development Department. Key areas of focus will be learning about our disease state (PAH) and the patients we serve; and supporting Training Managers in designing training programs and materials to support our Commercial organization.

The Training & Development Intern will:

  • Provide project management and administrative support to the Training & Development department.
  • Develop presentation content and design using PowerPoint for new hire training.
  • Collaborate with Marketing colleagues to develop training plans and workshop activities.
  • Work closely with Training Managers.
  • Gain exposure to Market Access, Marketing, HR and other departments through cross-functional initiatives.
  • Attend department meetings, document and track action items.
  • Participate in Life Sciences and Educators Network conference.
  • Attend workshops to enhance presentation skills.


  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the future.

  • Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Chemistry or Communication.

  • A minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 is strongly preferred.

  • Candidates need to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point, and have strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Candidates must be available to work Full-time (40 hours per week).

  • Demonstrated leadership is preferred.

  • Candidates must be detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks.

  • Candidates must have the ability to work individually (independently) as well as on a team.
