The Senior Manager should bring an innovative, passionate spirit. He/she will partner directly with the Finance Director, other members of the Global Finance Talent Management team global SME's and volunteers. The Senior Manager will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of the Global Finance technical training platform as well as support of education and training around the Finance competencies and functional profiles to guide our global Finance professionals in their self-development and career planning journeys and ad hoc projects.

Global Finance Technical Training
· Applies innovative approaches to design, update, improve and maintain Global Finance instructional material and technical learning content that enhances the learning experience and on-the-job application.
· Collects user requirements and voice of customer to deliver training solutions for new technology and processes.
· Through knowledge of business objectives, strategies and operational procedures, understands the training, development and innovation needs of the Finance organization and recommends effective solutions.
· Designs and develops innovative, comprehensive curriculums, utilizing advanced design/development techniques and tools of adult learning theory; identifies and partners with external vendors and developers, when needed.
· Works with the learning management system coordinator to ensure appropriate tracking of training records.
· Establishes and maintains metrics and dashboards on participation and effectiveness of trainings to be shared with Finance management.
· Gathers and analyzes feedback on training effectiveness and identify training gaps to improve individual/team performance.
· Expands knowledge of required tools and techniques through independent study, on-the-job-training and formal training.
· Partner with other departments to develop and lead a governance process that handles the development and prioritization of new technical trainings for global Finance.

General Project Management & Collaboration:
Senior Manager will be integral leader and member of many identified (both by self and Finance Director) development, learning and other special projects. These qualities and actions will be key for a successful candidate:
· Handles opposing priorities and adapts to changes in project timelines, urgency, or compliance constraints.
· Develops and implements short- and long-term project plans and meets objectives, milestones, and deliverables for multiple projects.
· Identifies and manages the necessary resources for projects.
· Leads partnerships across the Finance organization to drive communication and identify mutually-beneficial needs.
· Gathers and analyzes feedback on training effectiveness and identify training gaps to improve individual/team performance.
· Builds relationships throughout multiple stakeholder channels to gain support for preferred approaches and strategies.
· Collaborates efforts with peers to ensure consistency, use resources, and share best practices.
Examples of projects that Senior Manager will be working on initially (but not limited to):
· Develop learning and education strategies analyzing data from Global Finance Competency Model (GFCM) assessment.
· Create curriculum and learning programs that advance the development of our competencies.
· Accountability of delivery of annual GFCM assessment and expansion of tools and resources used for goal setting.
· Partner with global Finance leaders to continue functional profile development within Global Finance.
· Build a strong base of internal and external trainers, faculty, consultants and speakers to ensure best in class training courses and curriculums.
· Creation of a formal global certification policy for Finance.

· Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; preferably in Education or related Business major.
· An MBA is preferred.
· Minimum 8 years experience in stakeholder education, instructional design, or finance experience is required.
· Minimum 2 years experience in content design, development, or delivery required.
· Experience with presentation and facilitation skills are required.
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills required.
· Experience in training or coaching professionals preferred.
· Global experience is preferred.
· Proven ability to understand business strategies and translate it into solutions that support the company’s business goals required. 
· Proven leadership ability to effectively influence and motivate professionals at all levels required.
· Ability to work in cross functional teams and across a matrix organization required. 
· Advanced to intermediate skills in Excel with formulas, Pivot Tables, and V-lookups is required.
· Advanced to intermediate skills in PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word are required.
· Project Management/Leadership experience and PMP/FPX certification is preferred.
· Innovation experience, such as creating or leading sandbox programs, faster forward, or ideation sessions strongly preferred.
· Experience creating and deploying training materials for new technology or process preferred.
· This position is located in New Brunswick, NJ and will require up to 5% domestic travel.
