The Digital Surgery Customer Engagement & Pilot Implementation Manager will manage global customer engagements throughout a series of Healthcare IT related projects. The ideal candidate is expected to have a background in managing projects in healthcare IT and working directly with physicians / surgeons and / or C-level administrators.

Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for both developing strategy for and operationalizing critical, “first of a kind” connectivity implementations to deliver on a fully integrated Digital Surgery Platform that is safe, effective and compliant globally.

The individual should be able to collaborate with internal and external partners and drive projects on time and on budget to achieve determined targets.

Some of the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver project roadmaps and define scope at individual partner level per global / regional goals  

  • Coordinate resources and timetables, including the business inputs for legal agreements between Ethicon and B2B customers, in order to ensure operational success

  • Manage multiple cross-functional, global partners in the delivery of connectivity in healthcare environments

  • Maintain both end user and B2B customer relationships and ensure continued momentum / buy-in across key stakeholders

  • Create content for customer meetings and convey requirements / plans / progress effectively to both business partners and leadership

  • Document process and results of initial testing to inform implementation strategy

  • Synthesize and report learnings on user preferences, customer requirements and regulations

  • Drive investigational clinical trials of new Healthcare IT products through planning and execution, in collaboration with partnering investigators



Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Degree in an IT, surgical, or other healthcare-related field is preferred. PMP Certification is recommended.

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience is required.

  • A minimum of 2 years of project management and / or customer account management experience with surgeons and / or hospital C-Suite administrators in a hospital setting is required.

  • An understanding of software deployment in a healthcare environment is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Operating Room workflow is preferred.

  • Ability to manage project details within a bigger organizational and platform strategy.

  • Delivering results with little supervision and ability to define, shape, and drive projects to completion, while effectively collaborating strategically with others is required.

  • Excellent oral, written and consultative communication skills are required.

  • Must be able to work with global partners and be an effective communicator across multiple cultures.

  • Relocation not required. This position requires more than 50% travel during certain project phases - both domestic and international.
