Our Group Lead Position in the Machined Products Finishing area will work with supervisors, leads and operators to manage the cleaning & final packaging operators to consistently meet patient needs. This area includes washing, quality inspection, final packaging in a Clean Room environment and shipping.
Group Leads are imperative to a successful operation, as they partner with supervisors to coordinate and own the day-to-day operations and help us meet weekly attainment goals.

 Key responsibilities:
• Ensuring operators meet production efficiency/output expectations in a manner that is safe and adheres to high standards of quality.
• Leading daily & weekly production, planning and prioritizing production schedules, including scheduling operators in work areas before & during the shift.
• Collaborating with supervisor on all production and operator issues to ensure seamless operations on the floor. This includes availability & delivery of component issues, quality concerns, weekly production attainment, system or technical assistance and more.
• Coordinating priorities with the first and third shift leads, contributing to a team-based environment and mentality.
• Supporting quality operations through the resolution of NC's, Product Complaints and Audits.
• Communicating with maintenance for short-term prioritization and deployment of resources.
• Leading second shift production meetings to set team’s daily direction, ensuring each team member has the information needed to complete their work.
• Ensuring operators are trained to the appropriate procedures and verifying their training status.
• Reconciling production paperwork through support and process insight.
• Reviewing and update procedures and assisting in the deployment of new products.
• Partnering with supervisors & engineering team to energize operators on process (LEAN) improvement activities through communication & understanding

Qualifications
• Minimum of a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Production, Operations, Manufacturing and/or related discipline is required.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Read and write in English.
• Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required.
• Work in an open work area and in a clean room environment daily.
• Effectively communicate and work with operators and support staff.
• Continuously monitor and meet quality standards while complying with company policies and regulations.
• Work well independently and on small or large teams with demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
• Prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks and projects
• The ability to set up, operate and troubleshoot various types of machine equipment preferred.
• Experience with Multi-Vac, Atlas-Vac, and Shrink Wrap machines preferred.
• Experience in Medical Devices and/or Disposables preferred.
• Experience working in SAP systems preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English is required.
• Requires a daily commute to the site for the 2nd Shift of 1:15-10:00 PM and may require additional overtime, including weekends and holidays.
