As the Supply Chain E2E Planning Manager your core responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and lead the E2E Planning process (E2E Sense and Respond, E2E Scenario Planning, Supply Chain Optimization, and Synchronize Network)
  • Planning lead for the development & deployment of E2E Supply Chain Visualization tool to show product flows across value streams from suppliers, to manufacturing facilities, through to delivery and / or consumption of product by end customers
  • Deliver service/ inventory performance across end to end global value streams with direct accountability for E2E planning activities
  • Lead and develop the Global Supply & Inventory planning team members

      Supply Chain Optimization

  • Drive a robust process to manage business rules and planning parameters (including safety stocks and inventory targets), transportation lanes, replenishment methods, and process tolerance and triggers to enable an input-driven E2E Planning process based on current supply chain capabilities
  • Develop a culture of accountability around maintaining these key supply chain inputs (both within planning and with other key functions) that reflect actual performance as it exists in the current state
  • Develop and lead implementation of optimization of supply chain capabilities to further improve the supply chain

      Supply Chain Synchronization

  • Manage execution of the E2E Sense and Respond process, ensuring deviations / alerts from defined tolerances are actioned and escalated (as needed) as defined by process inputs
  • Manage multi-echelon recovery planning efforts for the value stream
  • Evaluate the multi-echelon impact of supply disruptions and recommends prioritized actions to resolve; balance all relevant trade-offs; leverage Scenario Planning capabilities as required
  • Drive communication through S&OP processes to ensure cross functional alignment on proposed optimal scenario and ensures S&OP decisions are implemented

      Supply Network Planning

  • Responsible for managing SNP Processes, including Net Requirements and Distribution Planning
  • Review multi-site constraints to balance E2E Demand and Supply
  • Own MPS with risk/tradeoff assumptions and feasible supply plans based on capacity. Communicates Synchronized Network MPS


  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is required preferably in Supply Chain / Logistics / Business or related discipline; a MBA or advanced degree is an asset
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required
  • Green Belt Six Sigma Certification & Supply Chain Certification (APICS/ IBF) is desirable
  • Medical device experience in a regulatory environment is preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures required
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified in Supply Chain Planning (CSCP) is preferred
  • Supervisory experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of all aspects of material management, supply planning, delivery and inventory control highly preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP and Advance Planning Systems is required (i.e SAP, JDA/Manugistics, OMP or equivalent)
  • Ability to develop, coach and lead a team of planners and team leads in the execution, strategies and realization of departmental and company goals
  • Ability to drive & apply continuous process improvement tools and improvements to large and complex projects
  • This position may require up to 25% domestic & international travel
