The Cardiovascular & Specialty Solutions (CSS) Group, part of the Medical Devices sector within Johnson & Johnson, is recruiting to be a part of the Internship Program located in Irvine, CA or Irwindale, CA. Internships will start in 2020.
The CSS Group consists of five diverse businesses including Acclarent, Biosense Webster, Cerenovus, Mentor, and Sterilmed. The CSS Group serves a diverse base of customers in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Electrophysiology, Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics, Neurovascular, and Reprocessing. As a potential participant in this development opportunity you will:
Have the opportunity to use state of the art tools and take advantage of training and development opportunities offered on-site.
Be assigned to a technology group to support new product development, compliance, or lifecycle product management with focus on engineering activities such as product design, reliability, risk management, analytics/statistical techniques, requirements management, test method, verification & validation, design control, quality systems, and regulatory affairs.
Be paired with an experienced engineer for mentorship and support.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status).
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/institution pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (e.g., BS, MS) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 Cumulative is strongly preferred.
- Possess previous co-op, internship or work experience and demonstrated leadership/participation in campus programs and/or community service activities is preferred.
- Have reliable transportation to/from the worksite during the internship is required.
