The Senior Manager, Data Operations and Stewardship will oversee our OmniChannel data management solutions end-to-end, and evolve Janssen’s commercial marketing data ecosystem. She/He will lead the execution of our data ingestion, flows and integrations workstreams acting as Commercial Excellence’s subject matter expert on our OmniChannel data strategies, sources and operational requirements across all our therapeutic areas. The Senior Manager will assist teams across our Omnichannel initiative in evolving and executing the consolidation of our analytics solutions with other data warehouse systems (Sales and Data ) aligning with overall Commercial Excellence strategy. The Senior Manager will track and communicate progress on key project milestones related to OmniChannel, proactively identified any risks, and develop mitigation plans.
The Senior Manager will oversee, manage, and direct the weekly and monthly processing and publishing of the Non-Promotional Programs, CRM and Speaker Program data. She/He will assist in troubleshooting data quality issue, recommend improvement working with our data providers to resolve such issues and manage a successful on-going operational process. The Senior Manager will execute operational excellence practices for data on boarding, data changes and data quality check solutions working with our downstream key stakeholders. She/He will work with our internal teams and external partners to ensure we move towards a streamlined data ecosystem across marketing & sales with a vision to deploy services with speed and reduce cost. The Senior Manager will provide regular communications on the progress, enablement, and support operations related to the marketing analytics solutions to Senior Leadership.
Key Responsibilities include:
Evaluation of third-party solutions that provide data & analytics solution for Omnichannel
Act as a subject matter expert in OmniChannel and bring best in class, innovative ideas to test and measure performance and impact of initiatives
Provide creative solutions to complex issues where fundamental principles do not clearly apply or where data appears to conflict
Assess and evaluate how data initiatives contribute to the broader OmniChannel offerings
Lead the buildout of the marketing analytics platform, partnering with the OmniChannel team members and external partners from analysis to production deployment
Communicate business critical information at senior levels
Support the Data and Platforms Group to build foundational infrastructure, data governance, and master data management in support of OmniChannel offerings
Assist with the evaluation and implementation of new data sources, tools, and capabilities that drive analytics objectives
Act as the escalation point for data model or data flow problems that development or project teams are unable to resolve without assistance by using hands-on technical skills.
Support for existing commercial marketing data warehouse environment(s) as it relates to OmniChannel/Marketing flows
Work collaboratively with Operations, Upstream, Downstream and Partner Strategy teams; helping to prioritize business information needs
Partner with brand teams to ensure the Non-Promotional and Speaker programs third parties’ data are timely delivered as per the contract owned by the brand team
Reach out to Third Party partners for missing data and/or incorrect data as needed
Manages data on boarding, data changes and data quality check solutions working with our downstream key stakeholders for Non-Promotional Programs and Speaker program data
Responsible for tracking and analyzing the KPIs that measure the delivery and quality performance of third-party data providers
Ensure high-quality data delivery that meets marketing research and franchises’ needs to become a trusted advisor to our Brand Teams
Use expertise knowledge to improve the quality of data models, data flows and data processing of data systems to support our on-going solutions and OmniChannel initiative
Partner with Development teams to prioritize and resolve key stakeholders' issues
Work with partners to document known solutions to internal and external knowledge base
Provide meaningful insights to improve the customer experience as well as optimize business decisions to the support team and other teams
Provide effective leadership for staff; day-to-day administrative and technical direction of onsite personnel; assignment of staff personnel to appropriate functions/tasks/duties.
A minimum of 7 years’ experience in the healthcare/ Life sciences field is required
Expert knowledge of marketing and sales data querying/data analysis/reporting solutions across the Life Sciences ecosystem
Experience with data integrations and data management related to multichannel systems in the Life Sciences domain
Strong Project Management skills working in a highly collaborative and matrix environment
Strong Business and Data Analysis skills with focus on pharmaceutical marketing operations and campaign management across one or more relevant therapeutic areas
Strong knowledge of third-party marketing data and analytics solutions (evaluation and deployment) for Life Sciences ecosystem
Track record of leading teams that have developed and delivered marketing analytics solutions with high utilization, adoption and satisfaction
Ability to work with external and internal teams on various projects/enhancements as well as manage projects independently
Ability to support data warehousing solutions in production – incident management, service requests, data quality checks, stewardship and management reporting working with partners
Strong communication skills especially while dealing with diverse functional groups
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of data management related SoPs and workflows
Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices
Knowledge of Commercial Life Sciences data sets (NPP, CMI, DDD, Xponent, Social Media)
Knowledge of Cloud Components such as AWS (Python/SPARK/EMR/Glue/RedShift)
Experience with building and supporting data and ETL pipelines in Cloud
Understanding of data integration with Campaign management tools (Adobe, Sales Force, Oracle)
Understanding of data lifecycle, data quality, metadata, stewardship and data management
