The Senior Manufacturing Engineer Team Lead:
•Provides leadership (including training, coaching and supervision) to the team of technicians operating the monomer production, water treatment, and solvent handling equipment for the entire JJV Jacksonville Site
•Supervises the adherence to safety, environmental, quality and regulatory policies & procedures including identifying and revising safety, regulatory, equipment and process training documentation for the department and other Operations Support functions
•Coordinates the teams of technicians as necessary for the completion of special projects
•Performs a variety of engineering functions of intermediate scope involving the analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of equipment and processes related to the Formulations Department
•Works closely with other disciplines (engineering, EHS&S, finance, procurement, planning, contractors, etc.) and personnel from the site and corporate environments
•Identifies, plans, and executes improvements to the quality and throughput of the department that will improve efficiency, product yield, and safety
•Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Engineering or equivalent technical field
•Minimum of 6 years of relevant business experience required
•Experience in a regulated environment preferred
•Experience in Mechanical or Chemical engineering in a processing environment highly preferred
•People leadership experience with a technical workforce preferred
•Equipment usage and abilities, including PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) knowledge and typical engineering tools preferred
•Project management, installation and/or qualification experience preferred
•PMP and/or FPX training preferred
•Experience handling and shipping hazardous materials preferred
•Global experience preferred
•Must be willing and able to regularly work the day shift, with the ability to respond to calls and scheduled activities outside of the typical workday, including weekends and some holidays.
•This position is located in Jacksonville, FL and will require up to 10% domestic and international travel
