Janssen BioTherapeutics Development (BTD) is seeking a hardworking and highly motivated Scientist with a background in late stage process development process and/or CAR-T therapy to join our CAR-T Process Development team. 

In this role, you will be working primarily to support late stage process characterization and validation activities. A history of delivering results in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable. As a member of the team, you will be contributing to the process validation and/or control strategy for a cell therapy. There will be an emphasis on technical writing in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
•Support process validation activities including authoring process validation protocols/reports, sampling strategy, and control strategy documentation. 
•Technical authoring of process characterization reports and regulatory filings. 
•Perform technical analysis of the project data, including trending of data, and will be expected to present data to peers and functional management
•Author technical reports and make presentations of technical data
•Follow general laboratory safety procedures, as related to biologically-derived materials
•Collaborate with contacts inside the company including functional line management as well as scientists in related functional areas such as Research and Development, QC/QA, Clinical, Manufacturing, Toxicology, and Regulatory (CMC) 

•Bachelor’s degree is required preferably within Engineering, Bio-Engineering, Computer Science, Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology or similar scientific discipline WITH a minimum of 5 years of related industry experience  OR Master’s Degree in an appropriate scientific discipline with a minimum of 3 years of related industry experience.
•Technology transfer and/or process validation experience
•Excellent Technical Writing
•Working knowledge of GLP and GMP requirements

•Experience with Authoring Regulatory Filings 
•Experience with characterization of biological molecules 
•Experience with gene therapy or CAR-T related compounds 
•JMP or minipad experience 
•Process control strategy
