This position is within the Supply Chain PLO organization, which is focused on developing new digital capabilities to enable personalized customer needs and preferences and identifying emerging technologies that can help accelerate the growth of digital adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Build, execute, and deliver products following an Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodology in a highly-regulated environment
  • Time, Effort, and Focus: 50%
  • The role of the individual should consider building high-quality products, rather than managing a series of projects. Designing a strategy and roadmap for a product, along with drafting out user stories that can be used to execute and deliver on a continuous product release cycle is critical to the success in this role. You should be able to manage design, development, and delivery across a global, cross-functional team.
2. Understand the interconnectedness of the products we build and the providing technology solutions to unique business problems
  • Time, Effort, and Focus: 30%
  • The expectation of the incumbent is to understand technology and how systems are designed and how they connect. You should also be familiar with the platforms, frameworks, and tooling that is used to underpin them. Additionally, we would look for you to provide suggestions and effectively solution design systems that attempt to solve unique business challenges. Staying on top of industry trends and identifying areas to implement them is required for this role.
3. Assist in the development of rapid prototypes and minimum viable products based on partnerships with startups and other innovation entities.
  • Time, Effort, and Focus: 20%
  • The goal of the team is to operate as a startup within a large enterprise by building prototypes and rapidly testing them in the marketplace with customers. In conjunction with a prototyping Tiger team, you will build and deliver solutions through a set of experimentation. By partnering with innovation entities and exploring customer opportunities, the applicant would work with the prototyping teams to build new innovative technologies, processes, and services. The candidate would own the processes of drafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and following Agile processes to deliver the work to the customer.
4. Discovery of customer problems and opportunities to embrace customer centricity and better serve our customers and their needs
  • Focusing on the customer centricity of connecting and building relationships with our diverse customers, you would seek to learn about their situations and environments to better serve them. It is imperative to empathize with the customer to start identifying problem areas and opportunities for improvement. This would include exploring innovation opportunities that target these areas and sharing the data to the broader team. Techniques would include in-depth customer research, immersion, ride-alongs, and workshops. Confirmation and validation occurs by drafting a hypothesis to test and verify through experimentation.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years of related work experience in a technology-related field, in a function supporting building digital products
  • Demonstrated track record in delivery of complex projects and programs utilizing Agile delivery techniques.
  • Successfully acted in a role of development and delivery of digital products
  • Experience working with cross-functional, global teams
  • Understands Product Development and building out MVP (minimally viable products)
  • Proven record of delivery against deadlines is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed presentation and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage working relationships and business partnerships, remotely if needed
