Job Description:

Responsible for field sales support through business analytics activities. Provides direction for the development of analytics systems to define and support sales and marketing objectives. Supports sales management with appropriate information and insights. At this level the role has increased responsibility including, but not limited to, additional skills, multiple lines/products, diverse teams, etc. This job is not eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities including hiring, and employee training; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems. Provides information & analysis related to area market. Assists sales and marketing management team in constructing sales forecast and budgets. Supervises the design, development, implementation and administration process of Sales Analytics plans. Organizes sales analytics staff to develop special projects to address various requirements in sales analytics. Coordinates and resolves issues in the development and implementation of plans and tools to facilitate and improve sales and marketing functions. Supports Sales Analytics manager in task planning and implementation, participates in and leads projects. Assists in developing and maintaining departmental budget. Mentors compensation experts and builds a team with expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System enhancement & management e.g. JIMS, iConnect, iDiscover
  • As contact point to communicate with local IT personnel, Korean JIM team and Taiwan ICONNECT team, and other regional stakeholders etc. on effective use of sale force effectiveness and commercial excellence solutions
  • Data management and analytics:
  • Data mapping & manipulation from input (sales system) to output (reports, KPI)
  • Serve as contact point for business and competitive intelligence sources and systems, facilitating access and training to the relevant data sources and subscriptions
  • Work with market access, finance and commercial teams etc. on their analytics needs, and provide reporting and research support for management
  • Support business partners in assessing new initiatives and strategies
  • As a partner with BUs to assess and identify training needs, develop / source and implement / coordinate training programs
  • Work with BU in optimizing sales force deployment
  • Manage SFE affairs such as target setting and incentive payout
  • Comply with integrity and compliance standards

Qualifications

Education:

  • University / Bachelor degree or above,
  • Generally requires 2+ years reputable sales or marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • PC skill
  • 3+ years’ solid commercial excellence experience is required for managerial title
