The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity within Johnson & Johnson for a Government Affairs and Policy Adviser. Reporting to the Senior Director Government Affairs and Policy, you will be a vital member of the broader Government Affairs and Policy team working across Australia and New Zealand for Johnson & Johnson’s medical devices business.

You will work with senior colleagues to monitor, research and analyse key policy areas of interest to J&J including:

  • Federal and State health policy
  • the Australian and New Zealand political landscape
  • Public and private healthcare trends.

You will enjoy chipping in to assist on projects that help to shape healthcare industry policy in Australia and New Zealand. You will support knowledge management, track issues and stakeholder mapping including through leading the introduction of a new stakeholder engagement tool.

In this role, you will take ownership of the planning, organisation and implementation of internal and external business-related events, stakeholder visits and VIP meetings. These events include J&Js annual engagement event in Canberra at Parliament House.

You're a proactive person who enjoys continuously learning and up-skilling your capabilities and is keen to work with an expert team of policy professionals.

You will possess qualifications in communications, political studies or other relevant fields including health and have MS Office skills.
