An exciting opportunity has become available as a Sales and Marketing Manager within the Immunology team. As a Sales and Marketing Manager you will have the overall responsibility for the sales and marketing operation within the designated Business Unit.
You will also give clear vision, direction & leadership to the Marketing and Sales Teams so they can articulate & communicate how their brand(s)/ contribution support the total business and ensure agreed sales targets are met through effective marketing and sales activities
Leads the UK Gastroenterology CVT collaborating closely with the IBVT
Lead the marketing team to develop strategic and tactical plans for brand to achieve agreed forecasts
1st Line leadership of Sales Managers and 2nd line leadership of sales team
Develop Business Plan and Strategic Plan
Lead the business plan development process, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders (Finance, Business Intelligence, Product Managers, HRD, Medical Affairs etc.)
Meet with Global and EMEA representatives to discuss and define strategy in the areas of buying process, segmentation and targeting. Define value proposition and market access strategy.
Produce financial business plan and subsequent financial updates
Involve cross function teams in production of forecast: Alliance management, Finance, Supply Chain, business information through face to face meetings and verbal and written communication
Utilise appropriate patient/forecast model to provide brand forecast
Provide information to financial partner to produce P&L
Produce Advertising and Sales Promotion budget based on tactical plan
Present to management board optimal brand forecast, resource allocation and profit contribution to gain agreement.
Meet customers and spend time in the field with field managers and members of their teams to update understanding of customer needs.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional and marketing teams to build brand strategies and deliver on objectives including revenue, market share and profitability.
- Experienced in successfully leading sales teams and people management & development
