•Interact with and maintain relationships with patient groups and leading patient advocates across all therapeutic areas within Japan
•Lead the development of patient advocacy strategies in partnership with cross-functional and regional teams to achieve and maintain accelerated, broad patient access
•Provide strategic counsel to business partner on patient advocacy and how it relates to the business, sharing insights and connecting colleagues with patient group partners to help drive the business and address areas of unmet need
•Represent Janssen Japan on patient advocacy with key external bodies (for e.g. JPMA) to help strengthen the patient voice in national health decision-making

Experience and competencies:
At least 5 years experiences in medical industry
Experience of leading patient advocacy initiatives on behalf of industry or patient groups and/or working with patient advocates directly
Confidence and ability to engage Senior leaders from both within the Company and our partners to shape our patient advocacy approaches
An ability to help teams embrace new concepts, processes and programs to strengthen our patient advocacy approach
Professional maturity and ability to work across levels, functions, regions and backgrounds
Ability to stay aligned with overall strategic direction while applying diligence and attention to detail in execution and reliably meeting deadlines
Ability to write and present clearly and persuasively in both English and Japanese
